QUARTZSITE Visit to the new DG MARKET!

I really like the new DG Market they have pretty much everthing. There freezer section is pretty good. I don't have to drive to Walmart in Parker as often I did. That book store was owned by a free spirit liked wearing no clothes, the best way to say it here.He passed away a little more than ayear ago. Yes it was there for many years.

Camping off grid you are more at the mercy of natural sunlight hours so going to bed and getting up with the sun is natural. Also, excercise and exposing yourself to daylight sunlight helps hormonally biochemically achieve good sleep.

Ditched the tv when my kids grew up/moved out on their own. No drama no negativity mushing my brain and heart. I’m just selective on KZbin channels I watch and books, books, books. I enjoyed this one. That blue sky there is mind boggling, ha ha.

Glad they got a DG Market. They are helpful in small towns. The one here in western Tx has a limited meat supply or stock, but glad to have the store.

Had to hide several very negative comments on this business today. There are places to go to get reviews other than here. A wise co-worker suggested it is a great idea to expect the best intentions of others (including businesses) until proven otherwise.

By weekend things get low there. I think Wednesday is their delivery day. There is a popcorn stand at Hi Ali across from the post office.

The market is a good add. They may cause Roadrunner and Coyote not raise prices as much. When they first opened they didn't have fresh fruits and veggies. But with them there are more choices now. Been here for the last year. Since I have no car, what I can't find in town I order from Amazon.

A question. I don’t have a water system as I’ll be in a SUV when I get there. Are there decent car washes, and do the have “doggie” wash stations? We have a car wash with a doggie wash. It’s enclosed, has a cleaning table and soap and what not to clean the dog. It even has a hair dryer. It would be cool if one there had it just for convenience.

This will just give us a little bit more variety out here. I like shopping at roadrunner and coyote. I enjoy supporting small businesses. And if you ever want a good potato salad roadrunner has an excellent one, has bacon in it.

DG Markets are good when not near grocery like Walmart or other chain grocery stores. Quality isn’t there on meat and produce. But works in a pinch. I should add I posted this before watching and is my own personal experience with DG Market

I might add, as I watch this. The meats are mostly hamburger, sausages, hot dogs and yes lunch meats like bologna, ham, turkey like Armor/oscar mayer/and their own brand.

It's estimated Quartzite gets a million visitors during the winter. If half of them spend $180 just in camping fees, that's 90 million dollars. I'm curious as to a BLM p and l during snow bird season. Is there such a thing?
