so many framework to learn, more and more wrappers just keep coming out, never ends....
@drehimself5 жыл бұрын
Haha, you don't have to learn all of them. Once you have a solid foundation in Vue, learning a new one is just a matter of getting used to its available components.

@@drehimself They said the same thing about going from HTML/CSS/Javascript to using one layer of front end framework... lol The scaffolding, setup, and loaders are a lot to sort out. There's so much going on before you get to the part where you're actually doing anything. But the scaling and multi-platform building seem like worthwhile gains...

Andre, what is your opinion of the upcoming Ionic 4 for Vue, compared to these Vative Vue components from Quasar or Vutify and etc? You seem to know Vue well.
@drehimself5 жыл бұрын
Quasar and Ionic are both similar in that they both use Cordova under the hood. It's just a web view for your mobile app which is fine for CRUD based apps IMO. The differences will be in the components available and the developer workflow/experience.

is it possible to add stream video or capture video functionality to an app that utilizes Vuejs and the Quasar framework? would it be something to look for on github? can you recommend any search terms? I would like to add streaming functionality using Quasar & Vuejs to build site like a twitch, there r no twitch clone tutorials i can find, don't suppose you would be interested in doing something like that 😀. thnx

Same way as you would do it traditionally. For example, you can set a class on the component or do it directly inline:

Simple suggestion - before next cast SPEND SOME TIME working with your subject... It's terrible to watch you struggling the whole video. Not cool.
@drehimself5 жыл бұрын
Appreciate the feedback. Can you give me an example of where you thought I was struggling? I generally like to keep in the errors if they don't take too long to fix. People like to see the debug process.
@Anghor5 жыл бұрын
@@drehimself Well it my me only my opinion, but whole video seems to be more "trial by fire" kind of stuff. Don't undermine your JS/Vue skills, but I think that you didn't work a lot with quasar components before. Too much guessing. I'm there by myself so why it struck me right away.
