I very deeply do respect Thomas Quasthoff. He simply is a marvellous teacher. Benevolent, fostering, and knowing exactly what he wants to form.

@@bodiloto yeah he teachers very well and designes it very interestingly with good examples. dont be one of thlse people on youtube who think they know everything better.

Simply the best thing ever! So glad this was caught on video. Quasthoff is a teacher like I've rarely seen. Closest thing was my own teacher John Shirley-Quirk... Same massive range, same ultimate care for what could be done with the music, and same self-effacing honesty. Thank you to whoever posted this. Just beautiful!

damn, he really shrinks them, doesnt he? Great talents come in and he takes them apart and puts them back together.
