Editor made a mistake at 5:28 - visually 5(i) should be 'Tooth & Claw: use Maul/Raze' - I did say it CORRECT verbally, but he messed up on the editing (don't worry, he's been fired - JUST KIDDING, just note the visual error)

One more mistake lol it’s very very minor but at the beginning of the offensive and defensive cooldowns chapter you said “like I said earlier in the video bear tanks are weak against mob physical damage” at 7:38 and should be magical damage?

omg THANK YOU. i've been playing bear since legion, so i didn't need the basics, but sooooo many spec guides start with 30 minutes of going over the talent tree, bis trinkets, stat priority, etc. without covering the basic gameplay loop first, so none of those details mean anything. this is the format that all guides should use.

Tip! Incarn allows you spam frenzie and iron fur without using stacks. You can also use up all of your frenzie right before popping incarn. This will allow you regen all stacks for frenzie because it doesn’t use charges when in incarn and can stack and spam so you should never die! Also if you pop incarn right before a key is used in M+ you get it right back as you start the key and have the buff for free 30seconds on invincibility!

Absolutely brilliant explanation. I play solo, so I wanted a good spec to be able to keep alive while at least killing some bad guys!! I specced to Guardian, but was still bamboozled by some of the talents. Being able to kill effectively whilst staying alive was paramount. I think you have explained it better than anyone for me to able to choose my talents. Thank you :).

@@abspackrecords5406 No, you won’t have enough rage for that frequency. You will sometimes use a few Ironfurs in a row before a big physical hit or if there are a lot of auto-attacking enemies in a group. It’s important to know that Ironfur is off the global cooldown delay so you can press it whenever, and that it only gives armor. You’ll get a feel for how many Ironfur stacks you need to keep rolling for the content you’re doing. You might only need to press it 2 times in a 7 second window. A big magical attack will require you to Frenzied Regen yourself to full health or use other defensive cooldowns.

Great stuff Quazii. To my surprise I actually went and leveled my druid first in TWW as tank, though it was my least used toon. So this is a good vid to keep handy as I finally become a tank after nearly 20 years of playing.

@@AkumaTheBarber The pressure is definitely there.. Mostly I think because I'm from the vanilla to Wrath days, and been absent for many years. Haven't followed the evolution of the player base, the new approach to dungeons, socials and other things. So I do feel old and outdated lol but that's not in a bad way necessarily. I'm not down with this style that years of pugs created. So still looking for the right group of people to play with. As for getting flamed as a tank not really but I must say I've put in a LOT of work behind it. I watch Quazii on the daily and re-watch his tanking and dungeon guides often to soak it all in. I do my best not to suck or learn as I go, I study. In the past months I've leveled one char of each class to max, now I'm settling on 3 possibilities for tank (warrior, druid, monk) and 2 dps (mage and rogue) with a paladin as a do it all kicker. I might start a guild to look for like minded players. My advice to you if you're anxious about it and play pgus is take your time. Learn everything before hand about your class, dungeon mechanics and routes. Follower dungeons are invaluable as a tool for learning, the bots won't flame you. Practice them a lot, you'll know when you're ready. Then, after a while, you'll get a little bored of tanking and might try some healing or go back to dps :) Most importantly keep it fun. Don't run after meta, or anything that sucks the fun out of the game or you'll burn your love for it out.

Thank you very much for the guide. But on the core rotation section near the end. The message on screen says to use tooth & claw on maul/thrash. Wasnt it supposed to say maul/raze? Also around the 6:20 time it changes to maw/thrash

Although bears arent the most tanky, flashy, or best tank in any department - i always return back to them mid every expac for brain akf tanking 10s after work or while having a beer with the boys on weekends Way to much fun and forgiving ❤

I’ve never used keybinds to play. I’ve always clicked spells. Can I see your keybinds for tanking for Druid? Can’t seem to figure out. Good setup my self. I’ve watched your key binds video.

Well you first need to utilize what buttons you do press and build your binds from there , the more uniform between toons the easier . But you can also bind stuff to mouse as well but it’s entirely dependent on your muscle memory and how your fingers remember

Oh yeah and if you can move how you move your toon entirely to the mouse it’ll open a lot of options with how you keypress and whatever quick stuff like mentioned in video barkskin and some other stuff can also be mapped to mouse. Blizzard ui setting is really comprehensive

the thing is all guides say "use raze when AoE" but the m+ tree doesnt even have Raze skilled. So do I just swipe and only dump rage into ironfur??

Yo man, dope guide. I just starting tanking and i have 1 question. I have noticed that sometimes when I used Frenzied Regen that it doesn't consume a charge. I know this is normal during Incarn but it is happening outsides of Incarn sometimes as well. Do you know why this is? I can't figure it out and it would help a lot if I could track anytime I have free usages of it.

I think it's better to drop thorns of iron for moonless night to be honest. it's like 10% of my single target damage parse.

you are talking about a HASTE softcap where your bear feels smooth to play. what percentage are we talking about? 5% - 10% - 15% ? doesnt need to be a perfect number just a ballpark for beginners would be nice.
