As a healer, I want to add in, if you are going for a big pull and you are running around the room pulling everyone while getting damaged, make sure you are actively getting aggro from them... Because if you are running back to the group with medium to low health and expecting me to health you, know that as soon I pop that first heal, I will have the entire room on my weak ass. I don't run into these kinds of tanks TOO much, but enough that I feel like I need to say something. Build aggro while pulling.
@SammyBammy8132 күн бұрын
Since 90% of mythic tanks are ProtPal right now, they “should” BoP you so you can rip those heals. But very well said and tough for the unfortunate bDK and VDH

My best friend picked up WoW right at the end of 10.1.5. She hit level 70 on a Prot Paladin without ever learning what an interrupt, CC, mitigation, or cooldowns were. It's painful how little the in-game teaches players expected skills for getting started. I don't think she's ready to tank keys, yet, but I've been coaching her on raids. I'm still trying to get her off of clicking, but I've taught her interrupts, mitigation, situations when she needs to use a cooldown, taunt swaps, trackers, and the importance of positioning. She's got a long way to go, but your guides have helped.

Tanking lets you group fast and control the flow of the dungeons for sure.Its a lot of responsibility because you need to know the dungeon layouts, effective mob count and how much you can pull BUT I will say healers have the most raw stress role. Theres nothing better in WoW than when you just mesh with your healer well and have those perfect dungeon runs. It’s so good.

started tanking in wow fairly recently as i main tank in Final fantasy 14. i know basic of tanking but i dont know the dungeons. yesterday i had a evoker in my group who was screaming in chat for me to pull bigger(yet i know i wouldn't survive any bigger pulls) so i said i cant take the damage and continued doing my pulls already. this evoker then decided to rescue me into big groups of mobs which in turn got us all wiped because i couldnt take all the damage outside of my metamorphosis form and i also wasnt mentally prepared for big pulls. i wish you could turn off being rescued by the evoker

Another great video but I have a fairly major problem with the title of the video. It should really be the COMPLETE guide for ALL classes performing mythics or something like that. The reason is that there are plenty of DPS and healer classes that do not understand kiting and line of sighting etc. I'm a healer main and watch every tanking video you do. So many DPS I have seen just let loose the fireball and forget as soon as the tank enters the room and then cry when they wipe

G'day Quazil got a question is there a way to "link" the group selection numbers/colors of Mythic Dungeon tools with plater? so for example when you have a route saved on MDT addon that information from MDT gets applied to plater so when your in a dungeon the mobs in said could have number next to the bars or be a set color for each pull. Just an idea on using a color or number code to know what to pull without the need of a second monitor. Thanks for all the content you create

Counter to the threat point - the DPS can also make efforts to minimise their impact on threat. As a ret main, who plays 99% of my m+ with the same tank, we coordinate big pulls with my cooldowns, if I know a big pull is coming, and I don’t want to wait to drop the big pp deeps, I’ll just bubble with my CDs. Likewise abilities like fade, mirror images, feign death all help. Losing threat isn’t ALWAYS the tank’s fault. Sometimes DPS mains get caught up in the big number chasing.
