Queen and Princess Anne Visit Children's Wood Project in Glasgow

The Queen and Princess Anne this morning visited The Children's Wood Project in Glasgow to learn about the work of the outdoor community initiative.
The Children's Wood Project is a dedicated green space designed to connect local people with nature, raise aspirations and bring the community together through outdoor activities such as gardening, beekeeping and forest schools.

Kudos to the Queen for walking through woodlands without proper footpaths, the ground in some parts is uneven! She just walks through with a smile on her face, listening and talking to adults and children! Lovely to see!

She walks unassisted, shows no signs of dementia, works 364 days a year, has rarely ever missed a scheduled engagement in 70 years, and still drives and goes out riding her ponies. Yes, she clearly has osteoporosis of the spine, which makes her ongoing accomplishments even more remarkable. We should all be so fortunate to live to 95, let alone be as healthy as Her Majesty.

That little boy at the end giving a gift to the Queen; his faced filled with delight and his eyes sparkling as he smiled. He was just overjoyed at being so close to the Queen. That's his moment. He will never forget. He kept his eye on the honey as the lady-in-waiting took it away too. He was so excited but he held it all in beautifully. He didn't move his feet either. Just planted himself there. Good for him.
