@Run Gunn I really hope you kept this same energy with all the AA actors who’ve played significant African leaders in films... The issue shouldn’t be with us other black people in the diaspora because in regards to Hollywood AA definitely get more shine. But I do think that in general we should have more black actors (AA actors in this case) being given big and interesting roles that aren’t linked to topics such as slavery, crime, poverty etc etc. There are soooo many beautiful stories to be told by black people. Us and our history is certainly not one dimensional🙌🏿
