I think the band should get a special shout out just for being so in sync during all the live performances that everyone praises Freddie for. Yes he was the front man and he was amazing, but if the rest of them didn’t know him and each other so well they never would have been what they turned out to be.... which is god tier. All of them. Not just Freddie.

queen were eclipsed and ridiculed by the punk movement because they were seen as self-indulgent prog-rockers. By the 80s they had become passe. Live aid came to their rescue. The amazing thing about this song, is that it had crystallized in Freddie's head, note-for-note, before he brought it to the band and very precisely instructed them on their parts. The band had no idea what the final product was supposed to sound like. They called it "Freddie's" nightmare. So maybe the song did originate from angels who then revealed to a very worthy musical prophet?🤔

@@3ScotsInk Oh, well, apparently there were originally three (or four?) separate songs Freddie was currently working on or had on the back burner, which he eventually merged to created BoRhap. One of those songs (IIRC) began with or contained the words 'Mama, just killed a man', and was originally envisaged as being a story about a cowboy! The cowboy concept was scrapped, but the 'Cowboy Song' tag I guess must have stuck. I heard it (BoRhap) was also sometimes referred to as 'Freddie's Thing'....

Amazing fact about Queens' lead guitarist Brian May. He was actually working on getting his Ph.D in astrophysics when Queen was formed. Music meant so much to him so he put his doctorate on the back burner. After Freddie Mercury died, Queen disbanded. Even while still part of the group Brian and his father designed and built a new kind of guitar. Brian's IQ has been measured in the 160's. That's even beyond Big Bang Theory smart. So he was a real genius on top of being a musical genius. after Queen disbanded, Brian went back to working toward his doctorate. He finally got it in 2006 or 7. He's now Dr. Brian May Ph.D. He's also written about 6 books on the subject of astrophysics.

I would strongly suggest the live version of Somebody to Love from Montreal 1981, Who Wants to Live Forever, also Montreal. Also, The Show Must Go On, the last song Freddie recorded before his death, and released posthumously. Talk about goosebumps. Brian May and the drummer Roger Taylor are very much alive, and along with Adam Lambert as vocalist toured as Queen last year. Adam doesn’t try to replace Freddie, but he is probably the best singer in the world to fill that role with Queen’s catalogue. They were scheduled for this year, but it was obviously cancelled. Brian then suffered a heart attack this past spring, but is slowly recovering. They still plan on some touring next year, so you guys might be able to see them live.

Speaking as a sound recordist, I know that the vocals were all recorded on one 20 track tape. To get the vocals, it was reworked so many times, there were transparent patches, on it! A couple of interesting things about Brian May, the guitarist. Doesn't use a plectrum, he uses an old sixpence. Also, when not playing music, he's one of the world's leading theoretical physicists and was one of the people that worked on the Large Hardon Collider. Freddie, still to this day, has the largest vocal range, ever recorded.

Lambert has a voice and a range that can make me cry. I'm not going to put him down, ever. When I say that Mercury has the best range, it's because no one has. It's biological freak. A friend of mine who´s very much into music once said: "You can make music too perfect (meant in a somehow flat way). But Queen managed to master the perfection in inperfection."

Hey Guys! At that time when Freddie M. wrote this song, they had to go 6 different studios to record this song! It took 3 weeks! The song has three part. When you listen the 'operatic" section they sound like as if 160 people would sing because what you can here only 3 guy, Freddie, Brian and Roger and the recordings were layered top of each other for 24 times in the end the best studio at that time in London. I have just writen a book about Freddie Mercury life and interpreted all of his songs those that have secret meanings. This was his best song and he was singing about the most important thing what happened with him in 1976 eventually. I explain also why is the choire part, every word has a very special meaning. I love them so much, Freddie was a wonderful person and the others are the best musicians in the world. I wrote the book in hungarian and it's gonna be translated to English by next July and it will be available on Amazon. Anyway I watched this and others reacting because I am so proud of them and I also love to see when people's jows dropp to the floor. Please keep listening Queen music you'll never be dissapointed I promise. Anyway welcome in Wonderland! If you really want to see their top performance watch Live Aid 1985. Queen. You'll be amazed. Thank you for the reaction. I enjoyed it very much!!!! God bless you all who love Queen and their extremely good music. Happy Christmas for every Queen fun all over the world and a New Year without the Corona19.

YES, Freddie was way ahead of his time !!! This song is truly Amazing, it is very interesting to listen to interviewers ask him about writing this song. I guess when they released this and it ran for lots longer than normal, a specific radio disk jockey got ahold of it and played it non stop for a while and it took off and that is history.

I read that this song was about his struggle with his identity. To become the person he really was he felt he'd be killing the person everyone knew. He was concerned that people would judge him harshly and leave him.

Epic performer! Every time I hear this, I feel such deep sadness that he died so young. I recommend watching the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody ". It shows how his life evolved. It's both wonderful and tragic.

Please do "Live Aid 85 " I know there are some great concerts out there, and it might not be for Queen perfectionist, but this way we can watch you experience Freddie in full flow with his control over audience and condensed so we can see your reaction and feel your joy.

@@decodolly1535 good catch lol, readin my comment back I can't recall even what I *meant* to say but I can't see why "infamy" was my chosen word 🤷‍♀️ idk what I may have put for auto correct to change it to that also??? Who knows. Regardless Queen, Freddie and this particular master piece are all as close to perfection and will forever hold dear to my heart. *THAT* was all my comment was to convey. Blessings to yah 😉

Every time you listen to BoRhap, there’s something new. All 4 of these musicians were perfectionists always playing their hearts out. Their live performances are better than their studio recordings because they were/are REAL musicians in every sense of the word!

Okay, first time watching you two BroAction dudes. The deep fright of these totally other wordly and perfect looking men is the first knock out pucnch in the video. The voice of Freddie Mercury is so big, deep, dark, high, huge and overwhelming to our senses!! "Nothing really matters, anyone can see, nothing really matters much to me". Freddie is other-wordly the musicians are using opera, rock, fright rock, and a new age of mixed media. How perfect are their faces and bodies? So perfect. Freddie is explaining his feelings, he has total nihilism, existence is senseless, totally letting go of everything and setting himself free!! No one knew that Bohemian Rhapsody would NEVER be replicated in our lifetimes back when it came out. I like the one brother of you two, and how the Bro in grey has his eyes open and looking at us , giving us his reactions. You said you did hear this before! But, now it has more impact I can see it in your eyes. I like the way your brother in the yellow buffalo plaid shirt opened his eyes finally and said " Okay I admit, it is the greatest song, ever written"!!! YES! That was Epic!! I tried to google BroAction and a ton of other stuff came up with that name. I am going to guess from the license that you are from either Brazil or maybe that is just your licensing. There are some other first time reactions that are more expressive, but yours was cool. Keep up the good work and I will be back for more.

I remember hearing this for the first time when it was released I could not believe what I was hearing I can explain to you what it was like , the anticipation waiting for the next album to come out we don't get that any more . Also the record company did not want to release it as a single it was to long Freddie insisted , it was a BBC Radio 1 DJ who played 10 times on his radio show and the rest is as they say history . I've heard it many many time since then and still get the same feeling , now in my late 60s and still love Queen . Great reaction to the videos just amazing to still see young people still enjoying they're great music .

Thank you so much for reacting to Queens music. I appreciate it so much when see young people as yourself appreciating their music. It makes me smile 😃 and brings tears to my eyes to see your reaction. There is so much much more to hear. You have no idea. You'll have to see the live concerts and to see the amount of fans that are there. It's so mind blowing to see! We all loved to see them and to hear their music. Freddie is so greatly missed. Yesterday was the 29th Anniversary of Freddie Mercury's death. He passed away November 24, 1991. Rest in peace Freddie. Your music and voice are greatly missed! Thank you guys 😊 for playing this.

I think they chose the sad and dramatic lyrics to fit into the "Opera Theme." Drama and Tragedy goes back to the ancient Greeks and Romans and their plays. If you are familiar with classic operas, they often have these tragic story lines. After all, their album name was "Night at The Opera." :-)

Their second album, second side, known as the Black side” is full of songs that make this sound like a cakewalk! (Don’t get me wrong, this song is PHENOMENAL!) Ogre Battle/Master Stroke/Nevermore/March of the Black Queen make up a big part of the second side and both “Ogre” and “Black Queen” will MELT YOUR FACE OFF!!! So many stereo tricks and VOCAL HARMONIES that can’t be outdone! Please do yourself a favor and listen to these and even their first album as well. Great reaction!!!!

I saw this for the first time in 1975 on "Don Kirshner's Rock Concert" on television when I was a teenager. At that time they were big in England but virtually unheard of in the USA. This was our introduction to the band, and of course we were blown away. It was a major loss when Freddie passed away so young. Peace out. Let the music play!

The entire first opening part where that you said they sound like Angels that's Freddie dubbing over himself and it's a big controversy as to whether it's about him coming out or not because he always denied that it was. It's three songs that he wrote and never finish any of them so put them all together
