When i look at the comments, i see most of people thought exact same thing as me. 1. Freddie looks like a man model here. I cannot describe how hot he is in this spesific video. Ive always found late 70's Freddie sexier (but moustache made him look hot in a different way, i really cannot describe it) Moustache gave him a more mature look so, Freddie in here looks so young and so fresh without moustache and curly mid-long hair. 2. I thought this song was released in 1980 when he grew his moustache. I know in video clip of this song, he didnt have it yet, but i see audience already knew the song. So how come Crazy Little Thing Called Love was already popular in 1979? I thought they were on jazz tour or sth. It really makes me feel strange seeing him performing this song without the moustache and longer hair. 3.You can really hear the difference in his voice between 70s (pre moustache) and 80s (with moustache). How just a year make a big difference in his voice? (in '79 he still had that clean voice, but in 80 it had more raspiness which made him sound harder, i know i couldnt describe it but y'all understand it for sure) 4. What is the real reason of change of his voice. Was it because of his nodules or was it because livers started to be affected by HIV? Is it because of smoking? Or he did on purpose to match with his new style and new sound of songs? My mind still blows when im listening to Queen, shuffle goes from like dont stop me now to play the game, you know, Freddie had that unique tone no matter which kind of style he sang, but still... 5. And video quality is amazing thanks for uploading. I dont know if anybody will see my comment here I am always open to talk about Queen and Freddie, and I cannot keep my mouth shut when it comes to Queen.
@spider-man1204 жыл бұрын
The song was released in 1979 like 3 months after the Jazz tour had ended, it was the Crazy tour, that is widely known as Freddie’s best tour, the reason his voice changed was due to smoking, and him wanting more of a macho voice. You should check out the Crazy Tour, there are only 4 gigs out there but they’re all amazing, and If you wanna see Freddie’s bets performance it’s 12/41979 at Newscastle, that’s where in my opinion the best Bohemian Rhapsody is, Keep Yourself Alive, 39, Now I’m Here, and Liar. Also 12/1/1979 in Glasgow has the the best bohemian Rhapsody vocally, and We Will Rock you the best version ever. 12/3/1979 Newcastle, has the best Save Me, somebody to love, and has the 2nd best Don’t Stop me Now. 12/6/1979 has one of the best Bohemian Rhapsody’s, Now I’m here, and one of John Deacons best shows, and 12/26/1979 at Hammersmith has the best Don’t Stop Me Now, and is the first recording of Freddie hitting the C5 in We Are The Champions
@mel197234 жыл бұрын
Vincent Vasquez I know I did my research after seeing this. And I totally agree with you, Newcastle was arguably the best Queen performance, and Hammersmith is amazing concert too. And I love 77-79 setlists since NOTW is my favorite album. I didn’t hear Glasgow ‘79 concert yet. I love how Freddie’s voice sounds so beautiful, strong and clean in those concerts. In 80’s, his voice got deeper and fit 80’s songs better but I always prefer 70’s.
@spider-man1204 жыл бұрын
Melina Melina yeah the last concert in which he had his 70’s voice is Oakland 7/14/1980 that concert is top 3 of all time. My top 3 is 12/4/1979, 7/14/1980, and even tho it isn’t complete it would be the best queen concert if it was complete 12/22/1977

In my point of view, he is much, much more pretty in that gorgeous look, curly and not straight. But at the beganing of each gig, his hair are straight...but the more he sweating, the more his hair get's curly. You can see in the Queen Rock Montreal in 1981(i was there, by the way), when he do Somebody To Love, he got straight hair and for Crazy Little Thing...oops, they goe's curly. :)
