Yep. Doesn't matter how clever or mighty our military forces are. Instant widespread saturation of the planet with fast as fuck, very durable and hyper aggressive monsters is going to destroy human civilization. Just period, the end. No meaningful counter attack could be launched in time before bases and facilities are overrun. Their weakness to high frequency sound was probably discovered quite early by some military intelligence, but those who knew and were capable of potentially mounting a major counter offense were probably quickly overrun in the first week.

Even if it were a service dog, it likely would not have been nearly that patient nor quiet. Eventually the death angels would make it panic and run off and bark at stuff. While a cat usually wont meow or hiss at something less it knows its a direct threat it can actually deal with. Any normal animal would look at these things and immediately be like "yeah nope, ain't touching that. Not even going to think about it."

In S4 when some active Flayer particles were freed from containment in the Russian prison they possessed dead demogorgon bodies that were inside beakers and powered them up like batteries or power and basically reanimated them back to life. Bio mechanical living robots or drones are what demogorgons and demodogs are. The Mind Flayer is the alien intelligence while everything else is the entire organism. The only entity that isn’t from the upside down and Mind Flayer’s creation or control is Vecna who basically joined the hive mind willingly to use it to help him invade earth and destroy humanity. If they need human and other animals to make biomass then conceivably if they wipe them all out the Death Angels will eventually starve or turn on each other. Should make the 3rd movie really cool as we get some payback. I wonder if arrows with explosive warheads would kill them the same way the shotgun does. I also believe the militaries of the world probably killed a bunch of them because there is a lot of weaponry that could easily shred the inside of their faces easily. Also, all of the ones on Manhattan will all die likely from starvation eventually. Blowing up the bridges and I’m sure destroying the tunnels made it so they are stuck and the Queen is fucked.

This movie was pretty annoying. The queen scene is the most interesting scene in the movie and it's also the dumbest. The character gets paralyzed by fear, but he is able to explore their pitch black hive that was on fire, with monsters obviously everywhere. The queen hears his heart beat but doesn't do anything? Make it make sense. I don't like when movies make characters chase around cats and children, like they just delete all logic and survival instinct to force the characters to chase stuff around. It's so lazy. The main black chick is a really good character and actress though. Pretty mid, looks like a sequel setup.

Their armor could be a form of protection from predators, or it it could be a result of their planets entire environment. The way these creatures jump, and how far they can jump, is an indicator that their homeworld had a high surface gravity. Higher than Earths.
