Thanks to QENP Team, UBC TV, Miss Tourism Ankole and Wanderlust Expedition Team for the exceptional efforts in marketing our national park. This has undoubtedly contributed to raising awareness and attracting visitors to experience the beauty of our natural treasures. However, we believe there's even greater potential to elevate our tourism industry further. By continuing to collaborate with innovative platforms and exploring new strategies, we can showcase the diverse wonders of our nation's parks and unlock even more opportunities for sustainable growth. Together, let's continue to inspire exploration and conservation, ensuring that future generations can also marvel at the splendor of our national parks.

Wouldn't it be a great idea to decolonise that park from queen Elizabeth to Kabaka Mwanga national park or Kabaka Kabalega national park

Why in any way?

As a Ugandan and an African i feel hurt to see such places named after the imperialists when we have our own heroes in Uganda who contributed lot to our history, in other countries like South Africa now they're remaining their own places from imperialists names to their own heroes who contributed a lot to their history but us we still carrying the flags and names of the imperialists higher it's very sad.

@@healthproducts1877 this park is shared by the two great kingdoms of Ankore and Tooro 50/50 in fact why then not choose frm their kings instead of giving us names frm far away places?
@healthproducts18778 ай бұрын
That wouldn't be a problem as long as it's named after Ugandans who contributed to our history no matter from Ankole or Toro, but not imperialists names like So called queen Elizabeth, for Mwanga and Kabalega i gave you as an example.
