Oh yay! The Emperor of Japan changed his hair part just a smidge and he looks so much better! Such a little thing changed his looks so much. Maybe his brother will take a hint. Queen Margrete looks so lovely in that grape colored outfit! So summery for her meeting with her cousin Harald!

I'm super stoked to hear that Empress Masako will be accompanying her husband on this goodwill trip, I know a lot's at stake but I'm cheering her on and hopeful she'll glide through the visit and execute her duties flawlessly. ? Sorry, did I miss something about the Jordanian prince? I'm a royal 'follower' and I've never read or heard anything about him that would make it hard to believe that he is married. On the contrary, young women-on-the-make would have been queuing up, surely, and he's clearly old enough to marry. Do tell ....

I hope Masako takes it easy and manages the travel well. Margarethe appears to be walking pretty well. Micro-financing for female entrepreneurs has by now long been proven to promote education and a healthier body politic in nations with same.

Am I missing something? King Harald is using crutches. Don't remember him using them before.

He has been using them for some time now. I think he has some problems with his knees but he is determined to carry on bravely.
