As part of Freddie Mercury's 50th birthday celebrations in September 1996, a unique concert was held at Wembley Stadium, London. Numerous guests were invited to perform with Freddie and Queen, including both the superstars of the era as well as long time collaborators and friends.
Among the guests was famous opera singer Montserrat Caballé with whom Freddie had recorded the 'Barcelona' album a few years back. This time however, she returned to join the band in a first full live rendition of a classic track - 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. Freddie and Montserrat shared lead vocals and a full choir was brought in to help recreate the magnificent operatic section of the song.
Created using original tracks, instrumental versions and live recordings, carefully adjusted and mixed for the best possible quality.
Enjoy!
