Well I was amongst the crowd that day and this event made me proud of my Scottish heritage.the purple colours on her coffin and the pipes and drums made sure this event stuck in my memory.😌

I’ve heard the bagpipes in real life before every Remembrance Sunday and Woody.EXE absolutely nails it when I March beside him to the cenotaph in high heels wearing the longest poppy dress ever. Woody.EXE thinks I’m a true Queen for Wales and I accepted the role when I was just 20. We were officially crowned in July 2023 during my 21st birthday celebrations and still kept my longest dress style on me. What an incredible 18 months this has been for both of us

I loved when they carried her Majesty out of the church and the bagpipes began.....tears all around. They piped her all the way to heaven.........God love all pipers.

Yes, that was amazing. I was struck by the transition and found it very moving. As the coffin left the Abby there was this majestic wall of music with such ancient roots greeting it.

.....The tune the pipes are playing is called, I believe, "My Misty Mountain Home" and would have been chosen by the Queen Mother herself....Very elegant ceremony and fitting I think for someone who did what she could during the War when London was being smashed by the German blitz....I read an anecdote about her, during the war, she was criticized at some point for getting dressed up, hat, pearls and so on when she and the late King visited the parts of London that had been bomb damaged, there's quite a bit of film about this....she replied that "everyone seems to get dressed up when they visit me so why shouldn't I do the same for others when I visit them".....
