Seven years for murder? In the civilised world, we call that getting away with it. Sure, including parole, good behaviour and extenuating circumstances a 15-20 year sentence may be reduced to 8 or 10 where I come from but there’d be outrage if a murderer only had 7 years to serve on the books.
