Here's my synopsis of Queen2 - imagine Queen made 10 songs, each of which were made to accompany another of Shakespeare's works and then put them on an album that's what Queen II is.

my god, 50 years on and it never EVER gets old. I frigin adore this just as much now as I did in 1974, and still sing it in the car every day.... at 11. 😁 NOTHING Queen did after 1979 can come anywhere even CLOSE to this. yeh I said what I said. Freddie we miss you so much.

I would strongly argue that nothing after Queen II can come close to is and Queen (which is right up there with II for me). After 1979? The Flash Gordon soundtrack is better than most (all?) of the albums after the first two, and that was 1980.

Wow! I have never forgot these early Queen songs. The songs Fairy Feller's Master Stroke and Nevermore took on a whole new meaning when I read about the artist painting: Fairy Feller's Master Stoke. I suppose Freddie studied about this artist while in college studying art and wrote these songs with the artist in mind. A very bizarre biography about the artist. Thanks for putting the lyrics with these three songs from Queen's second album, very nice work!
