Mate i have been a Queen fan since 1974 and have seen them live 23 times, (with Freddie), plus the Tribute concert at Wembley. They have been and remain part of my life and are still quite simply the greatest band ever to exist for more reasons than i can go in to. I have to say i have seen many reviews and reactions to their music on you you tube over the years but have found your channel to be the greatest of them all, it's real, it's passionate and it's honest, so well done and keep up the good work. Can i just make a quick request, staying power live at milton keynes bowl, fun it from the jazz album and long away from a day at the races. cheers for all you do.
@jodiwood53112 жыл бұрын
I can honestly write this exact thing you wrote about you, about myself MINUS the “I’ve seen them live 23 times” part. You lucky lucky guy!!! I was birthing babies from 80-90 in the US and never went (would have had to travel to one, nothing was near me ever) to a concert - stupid me. Well, thank heavens KZbin was created so I can watch all of what I missed!!!

@@jodiwood5311 yeah too true! there is so much amazing footage out there plus re-vamped bootlegs to enjoy now, apart from the obvious performances, check out the queen on fire dvd live from milton keynes bowl in 1982, this is one of my personal favourites and was a great day.

Freddie is so on point. I can feel his emotion,he almost cries in his delivery to bring this incredible depth. He is the only one of his time to give this emotion to create such sadness,yet beautiful. He has my heart forevermore. I miss him and will forever. He was a master and he sang from his heart in all he gave to us. So, people cherish this musical God. David,I love your response.

This one must hold the record for the most "JackthatBacks"! A beautiful,beautiful song by John Deacon, and Freddie's vocals are sublime. Love the way you pointed out tiny elements in Freddie's vocals which bring this performance to another level. Magic!

This song is exquisite, John writes the most beautiful songs. Freddie's breath and vocal control in this one is beyond human. John is playing a synth on this song but the sax is being played by a real human sax player and there actually is a string section playing as well. Thank you for a great reaction. This song incites images of a couple dancing all alone, on a small dance floor, in very dim light, in a bar at closing time, not wanting for the night to end.

Great review. I really love all the Jack that Backs! I really want to hear all the things you notice. I’ve been listening thousands of times to Queen songs since 1974 and I haven’t heard stuff that you point out!🤣 From Wiki about the saxophone: “The saxophone is played by Steve Gregory, a session musician who had previously performed on George Michael's 1984 number one "Careless Whisper". Yes, totally right about 80s music (60s 70s too of course) that those little parts ARE human!

Nice reaction. I'd love to see you react to Queen's rock ballad Let Me In Your Heart Again (kzbin.info/www/bejne/hIjdloGkppZgqKM). It was a 'new' song they released just a few years ago after discovering an unfinished demo of a song from the mid-80s and forgot they never finished it and realised they had enough material to finish the instrumental production and put it out. I think it has a really impressive vocal and also the way they did the arrangement is excellent. Please avoid the William Orbit remix though, as it rips the guts out of the song and you don't have all of Brian's great guitar work!

Hola David. PS: "One Year of Love" hace alusión directa al tema "Pain Is so Close to Pleasure" compuesta por John y Freddie. Otra sugerencia de reacción que dejo por si acaso.
