Queen was always a smart band -- and have proved to be again. They must know the ghost of Freddie will always be with them, but they've chosen someone with a powerful voice (as Freddie had), but who isn't trying to be Freddie. I'll always miss King Mercury, but it's great to hear them live again.

Respect for these guys who still want to play their music for us fans and not.. i never had the opportunity to see a Queen concert with Freddie because i was born in 1980 and Queen never had a real Italian tour before Q+PR in '05.Of course i miss Freddie (the best ever) and i'd love to see John again, but i have to say THANX to Brian, Roger and Paul. Don't bother again folks, keep listening old cds and watch old dvds and stop leaving negative comments.. don't like? don't watch!

Queen brings Paul Rodger's Free and Bad Company material up several notches. Rodgers vocal timbre, range and power fit well with the Queen songs, but who can ever replace Freddie? Paul is one of the best vocalist to fit the Queen sound. Few of the tribute concert vocalists could approach what Rodgers has done with the material.

Paul Rogers is a legend and Queen should be proud to have him on board.. and quite frankly they know he is as well and that is why they are happy to have him..! Let go of Fredie you die hard Queen fans.. although they really should change the name of the band as they are only going to piss off all the die hard Queen fans..

The legacy of Freddie Mercury still in the hearts of all of us, and it's a little difficult for Paul to earn the place to sing side by side with the other members. He'll not replace Freddie, never! But he's trying to do a memorial for him (sorry im from South America, so my English it's a little bad)

Oh, come on Vendimi3; how many of our legendary rock bands are able to perform concerts today with their original members? I am greatful for anyone that Roger and Brian choose to bring in, otherwise we should say goodbye to Queen forever. That would be a heartbreaking day for not only us, but it is so obvious they love and enjoy performing it for us still, would you deprive them of that?

Those of you who are slating Paul Rodgers have wrongly assumed that Queen were looking to find someone who looked and sounded exactly like Freddy. By performing with one of the undisputed greatest and most successful singers in Paul Rodgers, they have not only created a fresh, new (and good) sound but have sent out a message that Freddy is irreplaceable. This is backed up by the fact that they have released new tracks as a band, showing their musical development in a new direction post-freddy

Long live Queen + Paul Rodgers! For a performance where the two original vocalists are not present, this is fantastic. Face it people - Freddie Mercury is dead. No, he can never be replaced, but Paul Rodgers has given Brian and Roger whatever motivation necessary to continue as musicians. As a Queen enthusiast and fanatic, I personally find it fantastic that Queen is still alive and well in 2008, even though it is tragically without the beautiful voice of Freddie Mercury.

Kudo's to John Deacon (bass player for Queen) for retiring after Freddie's death. If the rest of Queen wanted to form a band they should be doing all new material. Its like cashing in on history already made! Freddie Mercury is his own Legend who made all of these songs famous in his own unique style, and amazing voice...and lets face it NO ONE can replace Freddie!! By reading most of these comments I think alot agree!

Do you know what Freddie said on Wembley? "We'll be together until we'll fucking die! We're good for a four aged Queen, aren't we?" So, he said we. Sadly Fred died and John couldn't continue playing, because he is missing Freddie so much. But Brian and Roger are still a part of Queen and as Fred predicted they sure will be good even when they'll be four aged if they'll be able. The Show Must Go On and Life Must Go On

Wow, listening to the opening solidifies what a good bass player John Deacon was. The bass player on this doesn't give it the life that 'Deacy" did. Brian does a very, very good job here on those high notes. He's not known for that, but I think he did a good job! And Paul Rodgers ' style is rooted in blues, so of course he's not going to be as dynamic as Freddie was - and no one should expect him to be.
