It's about the alphabet agencies pushing drugs and violence on the urban poor populations. The bee da da dope lines are about machine guns shooting others. Doesn't matter if you were born in the 80s 90s 00s 10s Whatever time period you are listening to this from, it speaks the truth. We all hold selfishness in our hearts.. and we need to change the world, sad truth is death and violence is so common, when there is a bombing or even a shooting, it doesn't surprise me, it angers me how people can just do that. We need to share the love we have in our hearts, even if it means death. There is so much darkness in this world, this song brings light to it and says we need to just love each other. For whatever reason we were put here, by science or by God. Whatever you believe it must be for a reason. So just be strong everyone! Hold this knowledge in your heart!

The corus is why I listen to the song, it calls to my soul.
@stanjuan11786 жыл бұрын
I was Born in 75 and I grew up with the music of Queen. This song was always a cherished addition to any playlist. But why? I won't pretend that there was any wisdom behind it; the fact is that this song is just god damn good to listen to. Turn your brain off, turn your ears on, and let the music wash over you. Queen is like a warm blanket, or a best friend that never judges you or asks to many questions. It's comfort food for the soul. I am 42 years old now. My life is vastly different than when I was 15. The cares of the world, THE PRESSURE. Have you ever taken the time to listen to the words of this song? I mean really listen? I've known the words forever, but I never really listened to them. The song is just a frigging great jam. But lately, I've been,,,,,,,, rediscovering if you will, the music of Queen. And today I was listening to this song here on youtube and reading the lyrics, No, I didn't need to read the lyrics, I know the words. But reading them, possibly for the first time, something clicked. Hey, I know that lots of people can find lots of meanings in lots of songs. The experience is unique for everyone. But reading the words to this song today, it strikes me as though it's about our collective experience, right here, right now, today. Not just on a personal level, I mean as a country. The words, maybe for the first time, are actually speaking to me. I don't know what the intention was for this song, I mean who can fathom the mind of Freddy Mercury. But all the same, I find a great deal of meaning in this song concerning the current state of humanity. Did Freddy know? Was he on to something 30 years ago? I don't know. What I do know is that this song, maybe for the first time, brought a tear to my eyes. Turns out, Queen isn't merely an essential part of American Rock History, Freddy had something to say as well. I didn't think it would be possible to like a song any more than I have for the past 30 years. But Freddy just keeps on giving.

This song isn’t Freddie Mercury or Queen’s song. This song is David Bowie’s song. And all Vanilla Ice did was steal the riff at the beginning and he paid David Bowie the money in the suit and just went on.
@jonathandeclerck66296 жыл бұрын

Now imagine smoke filling that stage, as a lone silhouette emerges holding an old microphone. DUN DUN DUN DU-DU-DUN-DUN. DUN DUN DUN DU-DU-DUN-DUN. Angels clap to the beat as the smoke clears to reveal Freddie Mercury himself. And then... ...a comet, no, A FUCKING SPACE CAPSULE crashes behind the stage, opening its hatch to reveal David Bowie... I played basketball in my youth like it was a religion. I met my wife on a basketball court when I was 14. All my closest friends are guys I used to play ball with and against in high school. Our rivals were Jersey Village, we hated them. Every year we'd make it to the state playoffs and they'd knock us out. It was a mindset that we just couldn't beat these guys. It happened my Freshman and Sophomore year just like clockwork. We met again my Junior year and like usual were getting our ass handed to us. When we came after halftime I was looking for any sign that we had a shot. This song was playing and I looked over to Kierra ( now my wife) and she just smiled. I was a PG not a great shooter but something happened that night. I made 7 in a row and the rest of the team fed off that. We ended up blowing them out of the building. Our bigs turned into a dunk contest. The real Irony is the guy for Jersey Village who trashed talk me the most ended up being my best man at my wedding. His name was Nathan Curry. He passed away a year ago from a very rare heart condition. We'll play again someday. RIP Nate.
