This original live verison without any "perfections", as shown here, just sounds so much better in my opinion. Freddie's voice feels much more lively and human, awhile Brian's guitar just beautifully echos, along with the amazing piano playing. One of my favorite Queen songs live... 🖤🤍🖤🤍 Love you John, Roger, Brian and Freddie! ❤

I prefer this one over the pitch corrected version, it brings out the humanity in the voice. Amazing performance of this song.

Amy Bauer i mean there is a HUGE difference if you listen to this one and the pitch corrected one, but they went a little overboard with the pitch correction

Amy Bauer I think the pitch correction was done for the sharp and flat notes, as well as Freddie hitting the wrong note towards the beginning of the piano parts. The guitar parts also sounded a bit odd so I think some correction happened there as well

I don't notice a difference in Freddie's voice but is that background noise or static. The crowd is louder.

Saw this on tv as a 15 year old but did not appreciate the magnifience then. Simply brilliant by all. Freddie....what a voice. RIP dear Fred

YES! I'm so glad to find this original version! I was beginning to think the polished-up version was the only one on KZbin (not that I don't adore that version, I do!). But there's just something about hearing Freddie's voice and playing in their raw, authentic form that's even more powerful. He was just a force of nature-- pure magic.

It's so wonderful to hear the original version of this song! Of course, the remastered version is just absolutely amazing, but I was curious to hear the original when I read comments saying the remastered one had been tweaked a fair bit. So, I've been searching and searching for this original recording, but didn't think I'd be able to find it until now. Thank you! Even though the remastered version brings astounding power and depth to the performance, at the end of the day, Freddie Mercury needed absolutely NOTHING to enhance his abilities! He was just pure, raw talent, and it's a privilege to see it shine here-- no vocal tweaks, no glossing over the little nuances and mistakes of the gritty realism that was Queen. Just simple and superb!

We're talking about this 50! years after it was recorded. They all did a damn good job on this.. a quick shout out to John Deacon, never seems to get a mention.
