You can catch Brian taking a turn on the piano with SAVE ME, Live at Montreal. With his guitar strung over his body, the interplay between him and Freddie at the start is sweet. The song and vocals, stellar. Brian says they never dissected the lyrics of their own songs. But when they wrote for Freddie to sing, they knew what they were doing.

This is one of the Queen songs I had played at my oldest son's funeral. The other two were: "My Bijou" and "Don't Try So Hard". He grew up listening to my Queen records and became a fan when he was quite young.

It's not just the hits either, the album tracks are awesome too. You will never find a simple tune with Queen, every song is put together with such skill, passion and inventiveness. So many genres and so many sounds that every album was exciting from start to finish.

Save Me, Live in Montreal 1981. I Want It All, video only. Freddie was getting sick by this time. The Show Must Go On, video only again. Love of My Life, 1986 Live At Wembly and 1985 Rockin Rio. Everyone in Rio sings the song to Freddie, approx 450,000 people. English is not their primary language, which just makes it so much cooler. Under Pressure the mix from Freddie's Tribute Concert and Wembly. 1992 Freddie's Tribute Concert, Somebody To Love, Queen + George Michael. Freddie would have been proud of this performance. 2017 Green Day Concert in Hyde Park. 65,000 people singing Bohemian Rapsody. Finally, We Will Rock You, Rockin 1000 at Stade DE France. They did an incredible performance of this Queen song. 1000 musicians came together for a whole concert.

One Vision, the concert opener at Wembley, is awesome. There is also a video that shows the band creating this song together in the studio, which is a lot of fun to watch. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqTWgZyqp9aCjq8

I LOVE YOUR QUEEN & FREDDIE REACTIONS, GUYS! FYI, there are OTHER fantastic Queen concerts as well: My personal FAV Queen concert is "Fire At The Bowl" at Milton Keynes in 1982 (which is often overlooked... but which is always agreed upon by reactors, once they've seen it, as being possibly the BEST). Also in 1986 during the same tour as Wembley, there's a FANTASTIC concert referred to as "Hungarian Rhapsody" which was held in Budapest. (Queen were the FIRST western rock group allowed to play behind the Iron Curtain; it took the group four years of working through all the red tape and hoops necessary, in order to do it... and they joked that they HOPED they broke even between their proceeds and the COST involved!) ALSO... the HUGE Rock In Rio music festival in January 1985, just a few months before Live Aid. (The attendance in Rio was approx. 300,000; Queen was integral in helping to establish the festival, which is still being held annually, of course.) For earlier Queen, DEFINITELY the Rainbow in 1974... and the Odeon Hammersmith in 1975, and again in 1979! Sadly, there are some FANTASTIC Queen concerts that were either not filmed professionally in their entirety or the footage is in somebody's vault somewhere (like their HUGE free concert in Hyde Park in 1976, their 1981 South American tours, and also a lot of the 1985 Rio festival) ...but that DO have some performances from the shows available in good video quality; a LOT of those pieces of performance footage are thanks to "NON official" Queen channels, like Chief Mouse, Chinwonder2, and Raseraa (among others)... individuals who use their own tech expertise to upgrade old video footage to HD quality! SUGGESTION: "ACTION THIS DAY" LIVE AT MILTON KEYNES BOWL, 1982

The one he did before was Another One Bites the Dust, another great performance. Also, if you react to Save Me (live at Montreal 1981) you will see Brian play the piano, with his guitar slung around his back at the same time as he plays both in the song.

Love this song as I do so many of their songs. If you want a hint of just how they came up with a song and, how much of a perfectionist they all were, but especially Freddie Mercury, you should react to the “One Vision” documentary, then the “One Vision” studio video and then “One Vision” live. There are so many great moments in that documentary, people have reacted to it on YT, it is long but not any longer than their performance at Live Aid. At one point Freddie is looking for a specific sound from Roger on the drums and I could not hear it until Freddie had him adjust something, and he finally got what Freddie wanted to hear. At one point Freddie laughs and it is so great to hear. You also see how funny they are, I am sure the documentary showed their best parts but still. It also shows a progression of how it went for them, studio/record/tour, over and over again. It also shows just how great they were live, many people say better, and it is true. 💗

All of the band can play other instruments, Freddie, Piano and guitar, Brian any guitar and keys, Roger, drums and guitar and John, bass guitar, keys, rhythm guitar, keys and double bass. They were all intelligent talented musicians who all could write great music. Sorry this is late, I must have missed this one.
