Thank you Rog for having the courage and determination to continue to share your music with us after Freddie left us. Grief is a terrible thing in that it can paralyze one. Y ou showed exceeptional courage overcoming that feeling and channeling it back into your wonderful creativity. It's such a shame that the 3 of you scattered instead of drawing together as brothers, because all of you were hurting equally! Thank you so much for the amazing songs you've given us since Queen. Also extremely grateful you're touring again with Bri and Adam. It's incredily hard to do that in one's senior years - it's exhausting enough when one is young. But I'm grateful you've decided to do it. Queen's music is far to speical to consign it to a dusty archive and forget about it. So thanks for the the new music, thanks for touring again and I hope you can have many moments of fun in the midst of moments of chaos. Love the fact too that you and Bri chose to work with other artists. It was therapy and a confidence booster that you guys were every bit as good as and in some cases better that some other artists out there. You and Bri don't have Freddie voices but you sound great singing and as a fan I'm thrilled to hear the wonderful songs we've missed for so long. Please never stop while you have the ability to share your music and wonderful talent. Treasure each other too - you and Bri are a unique combo and you have magic together - never forget that. If you have the chance - consider doing These Are The Days Of Our Lives with Bri as a duet with lots of wonderful clips of the 4 of you over the 20 years you were together as Queen - there were so many good times you shared and thousands of clips to choose from on the internet and your own Queen website. Then take it up to the present day. It would be such a wonderful tribute to all of you! I hate to end on a somber note but the two of you don't know how long you have this unique opportunity as every day is a gift. So very grateful for both of you and what you've given us fans! Thanks for the memories - I still love you!

I've discovered "Happiness?" very late - back in 2000 or 2001. By this time, I was a huge fan of Queen and especially Roger, but I only knew Queen's albums and Freddie's solo album "Mr. Bad Guy". One day I went to the disc shop, and while I was rummaging around, I found "Happiness?"... it was really magic, you know. I ran to home, jumped on my old cd player and listened to it with mom. How many time? I don't remember. Still today. And one of the best day of my life was finally in 2021, when I went to London to see Roger on stage for the Outsider tour. I love all the albums, but Happiness? is still very special to me. Like a first love ;)

It's amazing how a song can take one back to a very specific time in one's life and bring back some wonderful feelings and stirs up emotional Energies! I love your ability to write you feelings and emotions , turn it into music and be able to share the very same things with so many others around the world who experienced the same feelings and emotions as you! You don't have to believe in censorship to believe that people need to learn and speak the truth. Read it all, and study, form your own ideas and morals about truth and how to live within it. Always question authority and never accept things said about that which is important to you, learn, it is vital for survival of yourself and the world. Roger is so intelligent, I love these types of interviews where he is letting us all see that side of him. Yeah..good video this..always great to hear Roger's opinions, even back then 27yrs ago..I always enjoyed his rock voice from the queen albums..tenement funster being a favourite..so what a joy in 1987, when I was 14, to learn that he had two solo albums..and thus begun my fanship of the fella to this day...Those two albums were a godsend to me inbetween queen releases..happiness upped my respect for him furtherso; with Rogers social and personal comments..I was lucky enough to see the happiness tour when it came to Pompey..I must have been giving it some with my moves and singing along to every word because I got chosen from everyone in the audience to meet him afterwards..For the following 10yrs I boastfully told everyone about the fantastic conversation we had about his music and our eclectic musical tastes etc...In truth..I was a very shy, introverted person back then and totally choked when he walked over towards me and a few others.. I've regretted that deeply ever since..The one and only time you get to meet your musical hero and I totally bottled it..The moral of this story is clear without me spelling it out. .I just thank God I grew up after meeting my wife soon after..she gave me confidence to aspire and to talk to anyone.. I love the outsider album but sadly unable to attend any gigs... ..rock on Roger.. you're the best.

I'm a great fan of X Japan and just adore Yoshiki; he is a very generous and loving person. I love their song Foreign Sand, and enjoyed their appearance at the Great Musical Experience in Japan, but wonder why Roger seemed so stiff and unfriendly during the song and at the end. I thought Yoshiki played well and was thrilled when Toshi joined them on stage, but noticed Toshi moved back towards the drum and seemed to let Roger do almost all the singing. This has always bothered me and I've never seen it addressed...or was it nothing? He doesn't let on there was a problem during this interview. In the Midwest people don’t think it happened!?!?!?! Roger, I live in the Midwest. I grew up here. I live here. I’ve never met a person that believes it never happened. People think they can make generalizations about “fly over country” because they don’t know us. I don’t watch crap shows about celebrities, I don’t buy those nasty sensationalist papers, I don’t read them or watch KZbin videos about them. I always knew this band was probably more leftist but I overlook those sorts of things. If you knew conservatives instead of believing all the crap said about them you would realize the truth of the matter. Mostly this kind of attitude comes from rich people with no contact with regular people. Their vision of people get skewed by not having lived among regular people and get attitudes that they must be listened to because they have the platform to talk. It doesn’t mean they know what they are talking about.
@TheaterPup5 жыл бұрын
Well first off he first calls out the UK (his own country) and Europe. And to be fair, the Midwest (Illinois) is where the Nazis had a resurgence in the 70s. And the Midwest most recently helped put a game show in office who just said the Kurds were "happy" about being ethnically cleansed. If that wasn't you, then fine, you weren't one of the ones being talked about. But generalizations do have basis in reality. My part of America is known for being snobby and while I know it's not true for everyone, I won't deny it's also a sadly well earned reputation. You have to have some level of insight.

I mean this video is from 94', it could be that nowadays the midwest in more in informed. Here in the east coast we all had to learn about holocaust in middle school and high school. So hopefully, times have changed in the midwest since then. However, it also depends on where in the midwest he visited. Maybe the place he visited was super uneducated or something
@awarenessvillage3 жыл бұрын
@@strawberrycola1994 There were several states he went to on Queen's News of the World tour and before that when Queen opened for Mott the Hoople in the early 70s. Queen also toured the Midwest in the early 80s. I would guess he visited Illinois, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Missouri, and Michigan. In the 70s there was a growing white supremacist sector of society in the Midwest. Some here have mentioned learning about the Holocaust in school. I was in high school in the 1970s. We didn't learn about the Holocaust. I knew next to nothing about it until after I finished school.
