By the Grace of God Freddie retained those vocal chords right up until the end. I feel not being able to sing would have been worse than dying for him. What a gift to us all he was and continues to be. The first time hearing Freddie sing, whether it was the ‘70’s like this old bird, or 2022, the feeling is always just the same. Incomparable.

He had to do these songs over a few days. What is truly astonishing is that AIDS caused pneumonia with severe breathing problems. How he sang like this is a goddamn miracle.

I was a professional musician for 24 years, obviously in a different level...There are distinct levels or categories of musicianship! You get musicians, good musicians, excellent musicians and then you step to a level where only a few have entered...that is the level where FM is placed...GENIUS!!! I was blessed to be a baby boomer living through much of Freddie`s beautiful music to my delight my son (now 41) loved him too and NOW my 11 year old grand daughter is in love with him and his music - what a joy 3 generations all adoring one man and his music xxxx 🎼🎶🎹

This song and Mother Love gives me goosebumps whenever I hear them. Freddie’s voice was still absolutely amazing when he only had a few months left. He truly is an icon and a legend and his legacy will live on forever!
