@@minormajor11 you're right. the source material was shot with tube video cameras (probably vidicon) and stored to magnetic tape. film was an expensive medium to shoot and because they weren't a top of the bill act yet, those in charge at the production company maybe thought "just tape the promo and call it a day". about the artifacts at the beginning of the video, i think they left that for aesthetics purposes, and it kinda looks cool if you ask me.

Hello everyone here. I'm waiting for this remaster or Remix 2024 of Keep Yourself Alive. I'm 44 years old and was born in 1979, when I was 8 years old I heard Queen's first album Queen I and the most incredible song I heard was Keep Yourself Alive! That tight solo at the beginning is something that no one had ever done and I repeated that beginning several times. Even though I live in Brazil and it's going through a difficult time, I can't afford to buy the Deluxe Queen I, but regardless of that, I'll be following everything here. This Deluxe release I believe surpasses the Collector Edition The Miracle which is the best so far. Of course we can't compare The Miracle with Queen I, both for me are fantastic. But let's look at Queen I, it's already a fantastic album and regardless of what was done in the remasters or remixes, I'll always like Queen I because it was the first album I heard and Keep Yourself Alive really is Queen's master anthem. Big hug to the entire Queen team, Roger, Brian and family. I wish Brian a good health recovery. - - - Original Messagem in Portuguese - - - Olá a todos aqui. Forte abraço a toda equipe do Queen a roger a brian e familia. Desejo boa recuperação de saude Brian.

Beautiful remastering. All the boys were so young and handsome. I always wish they showed John more in the videos but the videos are what they are. We are lucky to have them. This one had a good blend of the guys and some good shots of Roger. I took my 30 year old daughter to see Queen with Adam Lambert in Denver last November and she loved the show so much. She hadn't really known much about Queen except her old mother listened to their music all the time. Then she saw the movie Bo Rap and fell in love with the band. We were blessed to get seats on the floor next to the track and saw Roger and Brian up close. I hope Brian is making a full recovery from his stroke. I was blessed with a life of Queen music and only wish that John and Freddie were still here and playing. Each individual member was the best at what they did and to have so much talent in one four man group was really providence. My daughter has my instructions for my burial. No service just cremate me and put me in the hole and blast my favorite Queen songs from her car CD player and that is it. I will see them all on the other side. Deborah🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
