Regarding your end question: I guess it depends on what role I would be playing in said TV show/Movie, would I just be that show/movie’s everyday Joe or could I take the role of any character? If I am just a standard Joe, I would definitely pick a friendlier film like maybe a Disney film or something where everyday life is very enjoyable and calm. If I can take the role of any character, well call me boring but definitely something like Twin Peaks or any film or TV series that borrows from Lovecraft, because many of these kinds of series have entities that can hypothetically do whatever they feel like doing by virtue of being in a higher state of reality and being god-like. The only issue is I think my brain might be completely ruined from trying to process that kind of “existence beyond existence” that these things usually live in.

If I could live any characters life for a weekend assuming I would actually have their abilities while I was them, I would probably go with Dr. Manhattan because due to the nature of his power I would likely be able to find a way to transfer the knowledge I had as Dr. Manhattan to the actual me which could come in handy. For instance I would always know the perfect time to microwave my food for it to be just the right temperature xD

It's a hard hypothetical though. It's kind of like thinking what world you like to be isekai'd to, but you don't get to have the life of the isekai protagonist.
