What an insanely good channel, especially for miniaturists who don't, can't or won't just order what they want online. In some ways it's certainly nice to, but the thrill of making it yourself is lost. Thank you so much for all your hard work in making, filming, editing, uploading and all that ❤

I was so thrilled to see this video - I'm custom building a dollhouse from some architectural plans I found on the net, so everything has been from scratch, and I really didn't want to pay $15 per door or window (and since it's somewhat of an observation tower/house, we're talking ~35 windows and 6 doora). Seeing how you made this door has saved me soooo much money!! And I have the deepest respect for popsicle sticks now - and those 1000 packs at Michael's are looking like a serious bargain!

@@queencityminis the star Wars figures I used to get were just under 4 inches tall, but now they have six inch tall action figures. Posable too. I just adore how the miniature dollhouse community, the model railroad community, and the people making dioramas for their action figures all overlap. Aging wood, making stones, bricks, fire pits, resin water, all in common. And terrain, foliage, trees. Oh and the role playing games like the dungeon and dragon stuff. They're in there too. There's a lot of cool Alien and Predator dioramas for that spaceship vibe or jungle look. They use fish tank grates to make the floors of spaceships with lights underneath. It's perfect.

I used to hate landlords too, then I learned homes are unaffordable bc of banks and their loans for properties. Makes perfect sense. Landlords are scapegoats.
@DawnDavidson10 ай бұрын
@@queencityminisagreed! It also depends on whether they are individual landlords, or big faceless corporations. Your mom and pop types are usually just trying to get by themselves. Big corporations can be evil because there is no individual accountability, often, and no empathy for the individual renters. I was forced to rent rooms in my house before I was later forced to sell it, so I’ve been on both sides of the rental equation. I have great empathy and appreciation for my landlord in our current rented condo, and all that he has to do dealing with the HOA. Being the landlord trying to keep paying my mortgage with not enough income was extremely stressful. This door is AMAZING. Your attention to detail is just *chefs kiss*! I have been obsessively watching your videos, with an occasional foray to other channels. I keep coming back here because your creativity is off the charts, and your results are truly miniature works of art. I am not joking when I say they would deserve to be in a museum.
