Queendom 2: Round 1 - ranking

Just some further explanation on WJSN & Viviz before I get comments about it: I don’t think I worded it the best lol. I do like WJSN’s music a lot, its totally my style. I wasn’t anticipating them to be “boring” because that wouldn’t be fair of me. I just think it was exactly what I imagined they would do, and it wasn’t anything too impressive to me PERSONALLY. I felt a similar way to the Kep1er performance, Kep1er is just mainly higher solely because I think they had the best energy of the night. Also as I stated, I’m not really a Buddy but a more casual fan of Gfriend, but it did move me a bit. I do think they made clever choices and I like how they used clockwork move at the end. But it’s my ranking and i’m just pointing out what I didn’t like etc. Their facial expressions is something I feel like was lacking the emotion that I wanted. I understand if performing Gfriend songs is difficult for them but use that in your favour, I think it had a lot more potential. If you’re gonna make me cry then give it 100% to me!! I’m excited to see WJSN and VIVIZ cover each other tho 😳 I really hope VIVIZ does something cute This is prob my fave Queendom/Kingdom cast and they all feel like they have a good shot, so I’m really excited to see what they all do.

Honestly I can't even imagine what loona would've been like if they had the whole round 1 stage to use...it would've definitely been top 3 fair and square for sure

I didnt even realize the stage was different omg...something was bothering me abt the setup and their stage design but i couldn't put my finger on it and i think it might be that. I know they got covid but mnet kinda screwed them in multiple ways😭 making them adapt the performance to the new stage setup, some of their mics being too quiet, and them being the only group without edited/volume adjusted vocals for the final episode

1. Hyolyn - She utilized the whole stage, made it work with her. She can really go against groups especially with her vocals. 2. Loona - Even with the cramped stage, they slayed. Their stage presence were really good. It's just that they looked sad sometimes and that's understandable. 3. WJSN - It was good I really loved their song, "As You Wished" really brings in the feels of dreams which suited queendom for me. 4. Viviz - It was nice but non-gfriend fans wouldn't feel anything with it... 5. Brave Girls - The girls worked hard, I actually really liked it but it lacked something. 6. Kepler - Wished they change the concept a bit and utilized the big stage like the others, they just stayed where they are. Nothing creative except maybe the dance changes and camera work.

Yes, Hyolyn is really resourceful by utilizing the whole stage and also she gave the whole performance with a positive vibes that can make the viewers enjoy the performance.. She filled the stage with so much relaxation and happiness especially her voice ..Its so beautiful and satisfying to hear that keep stuck in your head..

I was hoping so badly for WJSN to do "La La Love", "Save me Save you" or "Dreams Come True" instead of "As You Wish. " As someone whose been a fan of them since "Happy" I find AYW so fucking boring lol. But they still have time to absolutely bring it and at the end of the day they placed 2nd overall so that's good!

I was praying for Save Me Save You for biased reasons, its my fave. I understand why they chose As You Wish bc it is a good song, I just don’t think it has the energy for queendom. They still have a lot of time to show more you’re right 😁❤️

I understand that you don't consider yourself a buddy so I get where you might be coming from, but in general buddies are not looking for Viviz to 'move on', but more to celebrate their duality as both Viviz & Gfriend and give credence to the hope that we would some day see the 6 of them back together at least for special occasions or projects. In any case I think they did what they had to for Round 1, as there were questions hanging over their debut and what they are or want to be. This is Queendom but at the same time it is a stage for this conversation between them and the fans.

tbh i can’t see how one would think that way about wjsn’s performance, of course not saying your opinion is wrong or anything but i’ve never heard anything like this regarding this performance and idk what to say other than that you expecting the performance to be boring is very unpopular as well, they have a very great concept

I didn’t expect it to be boring! I like WJSN. I moreso imagined thats how the performance would be so it didnt surprise me, and overall found the stage to be more boring than the others. I like WJSN’s songs and really hope I’ll enjoy their next stages even more 😚❤️

@@dmmultiiz I stan Gfriend and as well as VVz and I agree that there are times that their facial expressions are blank . Idk what's going on in their minds while performing. I can felt their struggles not specifically in their performance bec. obviously they did amazing but in their emotional state, It's kind puzzle for me , you can feel that they are struggling performing the songs ..

Agreed with this list. Kep1er performance was too rushed in my opinion, like gurll I’m tired looking them dancing like that 😆 Hyolyn deserved #1 place.

My ranking: 1. Hyolyn. No explanation needed, she had everything vocals, dance and stage presence, perfection!! 2. WJSN. Being completely honest their stage made their performance eg. The outfits, the lights, the effects, the back up dancers, but everyone had the opportunity to do that much more or less so they should've, it's part of the competition after all. They also had enough stage presence to bring it all together. 3. Kep1er. Kep1er is like the opposite of WJSN. They barely had anything and I feel like they should've been given more cause the stage felt so empty, but still the girls gave what they needed to give, stage presence? Yes. Vocals? Kind of ordinary, but yes. Dance? 100% YES!! I hope they get more complex stages in the future cause we already know they can slay, let's see more. 4. Brave Girls. Their stage was so fun, personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the outfits but they genuinely looked like they were having the best time and their performance reflected that, I loved the energy, but all in all, they lack in power a bit. 5. Loona. Loona was at a disadvantage as they didn't have all the stage room and levels as the others. So like Kep1er, they lacked in interesting formations, back up dancers that truly add to the performance eg. WJSN's dancers. And effective usage of props. The reason Kep1er is 3rd and Loona is 5th is because Loona had a worse song remix and their stage presence was not as good. 6. Viviz. Like WJSN, Viviz's stage was carried by all the effects, costume and dancers, the difference is Viviz had barely any stage presence or power and relied on Nostalgia to push them through. I hope that's only for this episode cause I don't know how many Gfriend reminiscent moments I can take

They... just recovered from COVID... When I was recovering from COVID it took me weeks to get it back, thinking they would have 100% energy is not a good take!

They literally had just recovered from covid. I couldn't even walk one flight of stairs without panting after covid. Plus they had to prepare for round 2 performances simultaneously and if I'm not wrong that performance was recorded the very next day of this round for them so you've got to put that into consideration while creating an opinion like that.
