This was from Round 2 of Queendom where they were tasked to do a cover of another group’s song. AOA and Mamamoo did eachother, Park Bom and G(i)dle did eachother and Oh My Girl did Lovelyz. Lovelyz won a mini competition that allowed them to do a cover of whatever song they want from any artist (they picked Brown Eyed Girls). Each artist did a full-on remix of the song and choreo to suit their own style.

This song came out in 2009 and after this song, the GIRLCRUSH era began! The legend song of girl crush concept. (G)-IDLE's version is quite good in my opinion since they brought their vibe into it, but it lacks the strong vibe component as 2NE1's one and also the most important thing that different between (G)-IDLE and 2NE1 IN THIS SONG is that 2NE1's stages were like they was having fun and not care at all anything else :) while (G)-IDLE was focusing about choreography and that makes quite different ::) p.s you can also hear the fanchant at the beginning of the video: Eh Eh Eh Eh Eh Eh Eh Eh 2NE1

That's mean their cover was legendery i dont care about the others as long as idle and bom are satisfied with the cover of each other that proved that they did a freaking amazing job despite being the rookie in that show ( for they are not they looks like a senior ) because i never saw a gg do cover for 2ne1 song. And they got 3 downvots from the others : because first: they didn't change the original just a littel bit but soyeon if she want to change all the song or the concept she will do it better than the others but she respect her ligendary seniors. 2ne1 and Girls Generation were THE girlgroups back then. Girls generation was the nation's girlgroup but 2ne1 definitely was loved by the public too (such a shame that YG always takes forever to release songs and barely attend variety shows) and was the only other girl group who had a chance of winning against girls generation on music and award shows. If you're a 3rd gen fan, think Twice and BP. GG owned physical album sales and 2ne1 owned digital. Sones and blackjacks were arguing most of the time about awards and achievements and who's a better group (YT views weren't as important to fans back then) but stuck to and supported each other during hard times and congratulated each other whenever one group is recognized outside the kpop community. Sonejacks are the real winners. Haha. Why stan only one when you can stan both amazing groups 😍 if you plan on reacting to 2ne1, i suggest: Fire, I Don't Care, I Love You, Go Away (live stages of this song is fun), Come Back Home, Gotta Be You, Lonely, CL's solos, Bom's solos.
