I was literally one of those people holding up my phone a few times at the London show recently. But - they should definitely ban phones at gigs. So dumb really. Just sell people a professional recording afterwards or something.

Nah. Already pay enough for the ticket. What if the footage is focussed on Josh, but I wanna see Troy, Mickey Shoes, Dean or Jon. Then there’s copyright and heavy editing; what if some of the good stuff is removed to make it more palatable to a larger marketing demographic. That’s the beauty of taking your own footage, it’s a reminder of where you stood, who you stood with, what you experienced and what you liked from that gig.
