Dude, tbh any bass with a neck pickup and a fuzz of guitar or bass variety will do the job. Just slam it into a pretty decent bass amp and you’ll already be close. Tweak as necessary:)

The trick here is that Joe Barresi re-amped the bass into a Sovtek head (probably a MIG 50) during the mixing phase after the initial sound wasn't really cutting it.
