What i really like about their shows is that they seem to add more obscure songs and change em up every concert, just to please old and newer fans

The most obscure shit they played at the Hard Rock Seminole in Hollywood was Feet Don’t Fail Me and Battery Acid, I’ll never forgive them, what a let down of a show

They’re still doing it! YES! My all time favorite Queens song.

I had the luck to watch it live in Porto Alegre - Brasil, ...Like Clockwork tour. It's absurdly good live.

Jesus they sound better than ever! Josh is a pretty properly-rated songwriter but a pretty underrated guitarist...

What's with the hand chopping at the beginning? is he measuring the beat (im as casual as a fan of music as anyone can be) thanks
@variok8 ай бұрын
In a way, yes. He's telling the band that he's listening, and when he's going to start playing. Plus it adds to the vibe of the song - angular & a bit dissonant. There's little touches like that all over the song.

I thought it was a reference to the Talking Heads video for Once in A Lifetime, David Byrne does the same move, but idk I could be wrong

I remember that in the early live versions of this song, Troy wouldn’t play that high pitched twangy notes during the refrains, but simply play along the main riff. It made the riff more massive and overpowering, and ever since he introduced these accents I’ve been annoyed by them, cuz it’s distracting from the original vibe… Troy: please just try it out without it, just for fun! :)
@dildonicplague Жыл бұрын
Lol queens is here to make it more weird. Let troy do what you feel like "botches" the song. I get it I truly do but one of my fav things about queens live is all the different stuff they do while maintaining true to the album recording at the same time.

Yeah I think he's just having fun, it def sounds better without the extra notes

Dunno what you mean. This has always been the live arrangement. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oV7Icqunmdegjs0si=3c0op5e2Jx_xyPDV

@CCDaDon15 in this version, the main riff is much louder than the extra part that Troy does
@CCDaDon15 Жыл бұрын
@@Tocaraca yeah but Troy isn't in control of the mixing. This live recording is also done via phone and is not to be interpretated as an accurate representation of what it sounded like in that room
