Queensryche: "Operation Mindcrime" an entire album based on a single story of politics, religion, deception, sex and violence. It's a fantastic concept album, all the songs and atmospheric instrumentals are just extremely good. Other bands have done concept albums but this one is way up there in creativity and popularity. Preston this should be your first full album review (if you haven't done it before) because it's so awesome you really do it a disservice to listen to individual songs out of context, you'll miss a lot of the meaning since each song references the last one. Give it some thought, I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one who would want this and I guarantee you will love it. Have a great one Preston and keep'em coming!!

hey man, could you react to some of the works of André Matos? He was a brazilian musician, he was a singer, composer, maestro and pianist. He unfortunately passed away 11 days ago and it was a shock for all of his fans world-wide and even people that just knew his bands by name... He played on bands such as Viper(1985-1991), the most famous one Angra(1991-2000), Shaman(2000-2006), then his solo career, besides another projects like Virgo, Symfonia and a project with the guys from an american prog metal band called Sieges Even. He was just 47 years old... He really loved his country and was proud to show the world what we're capable of musically, even with all the music degradation across the globe, he was persistent, yet with his death the media didn't care at all, at max a channel made a homage of 3 minutes, but nothing more than that... The politicians even less, it's pretty sad and if you could react to one or some of his work would be awesome and it would mean the world for his fans such as myself. My request is this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/sH6lZ3qviadogLs the song is from the album Holy Land(1996) or maybe Fairy Tale from Shaman live in 2003, the band he formed right after he left Angra kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmWzemV7l5t5qbM, I'd send you the album version of both but I'd like you to see André Matos and how his perfomance was. People might have another requests, I know you do a video per reaction, so it's up to you to decide which you want to do these are good ones in my opinion. It'd mean a lot if you do that.

Geoff still tours all over the world. His voice in still incredible! Also, he was just inducted into the rock-n-roll hall of fame (well deserved)Check out the song called 'Someone else' the acoustic version.

The year was 1984 ..Small club in Baltimore MD " Hammerjacks " .. 5 bucks at the door .. The band .. Queensryche . .. Wrap around upper bar overlooking the stage ..Sitting on the right side 10 feet away " Perfect vantage point " .. The song " Take Hold of the Flame " .. during the lead break . The singer " Geoff Tate " had been constantly shaking his hand at me the whole night .. Climbed the PA stack and ..stayed with me and Took Hold of my hand for the duration of the lead .. One of the most transforming moments in my life

You should react to Suite Sister Mary from their Operation Mindcrime album. You would love it.

It was 1985 . I went to a club in Baltimore MD called Hammerjacks . Paid 5 dollars at the door .. Got a bar stool .. Perfectly overlooking the stage on the left side .. When Queensryche took the stage .. I was in PERFECT view .. Like the band was all mine .. Geoff all throughout the night kept pointing at me .. Then during the lead break .. He climbed The PA system .. Came to me , took my hand and stayed with me as the lead guitar was letting it flow .. He stayed the entire time with me !! .. I did see the worried look in the other band members lie he was going to fall .. They never missed a lick .. All that night I had interactions with every member .. I have always wondered .. Do they remember that night ?? .. For a moment in time our lives crossed and we acknowledged each other with smiles and hand gestures .. I will never forget ..

Queensryche - Queen of the reich from same show Or my favorite with great lyrics Queensryche - Revolution Calling

you need to react to literally any song from Queensryche's EMPIRE album or Operation: MINDCRIME
@lorenzocitro7205 жыл бұрын
Operation:Mindcrime....of corse,way better than Empire,just my humble opinion...cheers ;)
@IRuinEvrything5 жыл бұрын
@@lorenzocitro720 I totally agree that mindcrime is a better album, but it's a concept album and deserves to be really listened to. (Or even better, watching the Operation: LIVECrime concert video). Empire has several stand alone singles that have mind-blowing, award winning production. The vocal performance on Jet City Woman is ridiculously good, switching from Geoff's low register to his high voice seamlessly, and the great bassline/tone.

He really is that good live. I saw them live in 2003 and he was still as powerful.
