Was just gonna say the same thing as J Ryan, like, WHY aren't you in Queensryche. I can sing this, but those highs are right in my limit, but you just nail it, you have some real power and depth in the upper register, then just to add insult to injury, you freestyle some insanely gorgeous higher notes, where we all weren't expecting. I can sing, and I can sing well, but when my voice grows up, I want it to sound like you. As one gigging muso to another, big respect bro.

See...i'd much sooner have seen you take over from Geoff. You pull off the songs fantastically, without screaming (ok, maybe some screaming, but more smooth transitions) and with your own vocal identity. You don't sound like or try to sound like Geoff. Since the day I saw you performing Queen of The Reich in your car I've thought you the only person besides Geoff to do his vocal melodies justice and to this day I stand by that. I try not to get involved in the shitstorm and don't take sides but I always have been (musically) and always will be a fan of Geoff Tate's voice and music. Never really took to Todd as the new Queensryche vocalist. He's great with new stuff, but I just can't adjust to him doing the classics. Too much like a second rate Tate to me (personal opinion. No fanboys jumping on me please.) If you'd been picked as the new ryche vocalist i'd have easily taken to it. Plus you've only got better over time. Absolutely fan-fucking-tastic
