It depends on your beliefs. Personally, it's about your guid(s), helping you through this world/dream/school. Thanks for this reaction. This is an excellent group, they're really good at concept (each song tells part of the story) albums. Pronounced, Queens-Rike

How I see it, lucid dreaming is a minor point, but it is there. @@NoctemAeternusMusic

Ostensively, it is. I'd say, look deeper, but it's really something you see, when it's time.@@niel-w1g

The song was written by Chris DeGarmo. He's the man playing the guitar, he wrote this song one night after conforting one of his children who had a nightmare. In essence the song is written as a lullaby. It is a beautiful song with a sweet back story to it. 102 Reply

I think you are really listening, and really trying to feel it. I think you really want to feel it, and I love it. and subbed. But I can understand if you didn't. And my favorite reactors are the ones who don't play to their audience. I love that you weren't tripping over yourself to love it because of your audience.

Prog metal is what I'd classify them as. They have a great concept album (as it tells a complete Manchurian Candidate type story if you listen to it in original order) called Operation Mindcrime. This song is off Empire, which was probably tjeir most successful album. This song was positively inescapable on MTV back in the day.

This is not even close to what prog metal is... they are classic rock or ballad rock... prog metal are bands like Opeth. HUGE difference.
