Hey Jase, we saw your partner wears a peaked cap under her helmet which is a big safety no no. She will be safer in a crash if she doesn't do that - it is a common mistake by riders.

Thanks Grant. She has very fair skin and has a history os skin cancer so that is why she sometimes wears a cap. I will suggest an alternative to her.... gently :-)

Understand your reasoning but there are bike specific head covers that can be purchased that will keep the rider safe when using a helmet and protect from the sun - Chrus Foggin from Recreational Riders NZ has done articles on this in the past. It certainly is an issue for many riders. Anyway hope that helps and we enjoy your videos having ridden many of your trails ourselves. Keep safe.
