Yeah the weather wasn't too great, but I think we were lucky with what we did have and it was pretty similar to the UK to be honest. In Franz Josef, we were on the only heli flights to fly for about 17 days!

I was there 9th May to 16 May 2016. We were close all the tym..... doing the same activities.......We both missed Milford Sound becoz of bad weather....Overall trip was alright....M going there again in Mid June. I watching lot of videos but liked yours very much. Thank you so much for sharing, I learnt a lot with this video.

After spending 2 years living and working in NZ, I recommend everyone that goes only goes during the (very short) summer. The weather can be so so bad (and thats coming from a brit!!!), for such long periods that you could really fly in and see 3 weeks of wind and rain. Anyway, keep em coming Joe. Good stuff. Yeah I would definitely love to return in the summer. If we had more stops on our travels, we would have been pushing our luck a bit with getting to do things in NZ, unless we were skiing.

Awesome-I'd love to visit Vietnam! Since May we've been working flat out in Melbourne to save up for our next amounts of travels. I will have some more recent videos out soon! I too love Elly's shrieks and excitement in this vlog; there were some hilarious clips in the jet boating that we couldn't stop laughing at haha!

if you ever come back to nz I highly recommend hanmer springs for awesome hot pools and views, also don't under estimate the city's in nz. Wellington has a great museum. also rather than cooking your own food, check out the local cuisine and restaurants. you won't regret it. (PS I live in NZ and I thought your vlogs were awesome, but I think you missed out on a few really cool things)
