Visiting the South Island of New Zealand lived up to all of our expectations and more! We did so much that we've had to split our vlog into further parts! During this video, we visited Lake Rotoiti (Nelson Lakes), Arthur's Pass, Hokitika Gorge, and Franz Josef Glacier. We went on epic road trips through mountains and lakes, as well as exploring the Franz Josef Glacier up close and personal!

Haha! Slightly small head and weird perspective from the camera angle makes it look a bit odd I guess. I pretty much wore a cap throughout the whole time in New Zealand because my hair was pretty long and I didn't want to be doing my hair if I couldn't shower daily in the camper.

I thought long and hard about making it, but decided it didn't quite meet all my needs around the time that I bought my Sony. Since having the Sony, I've realised I still prefer to use Canon for fast photography, but if I'm wanting to take my time around a shot such as with landscapes or long exposures I'd be able to use the Sony's 42mp

These shots are manually colour graded. You can do the same using various curves and other exposure editing styles in apps such as Lightroom or Photoshop.

You are so lucky to see the stunning and incredible scenery of New Zealand and I can understand why you were overwhelmed.What i don't like is ,when people give a hard bashing to Australia because they think New Zealand is a much more beautiful country.Lets face it,they only ever seen the East Coast,which is so commercial .They never get to experience the real Australia eg Kakadu ,West MCdonlad rangs in Northern Territory ,Cape York Peninsula,in Queensland ,Simpson desert and flinders Ranges in South Australia,Oxley Wild River in NSW,The Bungle Bungles ,in Western Australia,Tasmania and many more.Well i hope you will have many beautiful memories of New Zealand and when you return to Australia ,hire a four weel drive and go off road and see some amazng scenery .That is the road less travelled,regards Louisa

How did you finance this trip? Did you have to save money for a long time? And was this trip expensive for you? And a final question, is it expensive to live on New Zealand? Like is the food expensive ?

Yes, we saved up extensively for about 7 months beforehand by literally stopping anything but essential spending. If travel is your priority, you can make it happen! New Zealand is fairly similar in terms of pricing for places such as Western Europe and the US. It's not cheap like SE Asia, but it's not expensive like somewhere like London.
