I don't even know why Bobby still doesn't have his own show? There needs to be a separate show for the behind the scenes of all the house transformations! And then Bobby could run us thru his organizational tips etc!

I know this was months ago but whatever. All of the other fab 5 spend a lot of time with the hero helping them and teaching them. Sure we only see 40-60 minutes of content but they do spend the entire week with them. Sure Bobby puts in the most work and the most time, and his impact is often the biggest on the show but that doesn't mean we shouldn't over look what the others do for the hero. There's a reason why all 5 of them are on the show, not just Bobby Karamo rekindles relationships people often think are completely broken and helps them see things about themselves that are trapped and he helps them realise things about them. Antoni shows them how to make multiple dishes (sometimes we can see them in the background) He also suits it to the person, why would he teach someone who can't even cook the most simple things how to make the most elaborate or most healthy dinner. He helps them develop skills and confidence that allows them to develop their own tastes Tan literally redesigns their entire wardrobes, many times actually showing the hero how clothing can help shape and show off their bodies in a different and better way, that a lot of them are shocked and surprised with. The trans hero in season 3 I think said 'this is actually me' or words to that effect. It has a surprising impact on how the hero sees themselves. Same thing with Jonathan, he shows them a lot more than just giving them a haircut but sometimes we don't get to see that due to time constraints of the show.

@thebonniewong4 жыл бұрын
@@ghostlingbud Yes I would highly recommend go to school for it! You may be able to find a program in a nearby city college for an associate's degree to get started on basics, and it would be much cheaper than art school and that's all the education you need. Then while you've taken a few classes you should apply to intern with an interior design firm in a field you're interested in; residential, hospitality, commercial etc. You will learn the most on the job. Best of luck! 😉

@jainthorne41362 жыл бұрын
In a way, you can. Watch the shows and make notes on the design elements he talks about. Literally keep a list and then look at the things he did that made the most impact. Start with one or two key projects and the rest of the design will evolve. For example, often in the bedroom most of the design impact is carried by three things: declutter and put way mess, paint a beautiful color and select or make a great headboard for the bed. I'd also advise to let it evolve over a few months. Bobby has been doing this for years and has a design team to search out items. You will naturally need more time to decide what works for you.
This was such a cool video! I have watched each episode multiple times (I wish there was a new episode every day). The show is just so uplifting and Bobby is exactly right about having a clean, organized space that is beautiful and reflects YOU is helpful for mental health, whereas living with clutter is harmful. I always get a boost of about 5-10 mental health points when my house is really clean. I love his designs and the personal touches he provides for each person. Bobby, you are amazing! :)
