I think when people with accents are around people with their same accent it becomes stronger. I follow someone who's Australian and by just listening to him speak you wouldn't know but one time his mom phoned him when he was on a livestream and after a minute or two he was talking with a pretty strong Australian accent

I'm Aussie and went to live in Glasgow. It was so weird, the first proper sunny day when it got to mid-Spring and people were sunbathing in the Botanical Gardens, queuing down the street for an icecream lol. Friends I had made turned up orange over night covered in fake tan. It was so strange haha.

As someone British born but lived majority of my life in Canada (damn parents) I get how you feel about being back home in the UK. It’s the best place on earth in my opinion. The sea, country and city are so close. Love it and miss it everyday. Even the rain makes me happy when I’m there. There is a certain smell when it rains that you don’t get in Canada. Fish and Chips is a staple when I’m home. Crap in Canada amazing in Newcastle. Proud to be British !

there's this thing about Tan that makes me so happy he doesn't always hold eye contact with people while talking to them, he'll often look up or to the sides, especially compared to people like Karamo as someone with autism, i often can't maintain eye contact at all, and that little bit of representation and normalisation is just a lovely lovely thing

@@audih0e I've never been told off about it - of course it depends on the context, in a job interview or networking thing maintaining eye contact is important but when you are casually talking to someone you can take a break. Looking too much in someone's eyes is seen like an intrusion/impolite. Of course if you avoid it completely people might think you're not listening or you're concealing something ;)

He's my favourite of the fab5. He's so damn gorgeous. One of the hottest men I ever seen. He's undoubtedly skilled in what he does , if you read his book he went to extreme extents to make his fashion business work so he's really professional and knowledgeable. But also he's snarky af and has the dry British humor you immediately love.
