Queer Review

With his second film this year, Luca Guadagnino takes us to Mexico City in the late 1940s with Queer, based on the novel by William S. Burroughs. Is this another win for Guadagnino and an Oscar-worthy turn from Daniel Craig?

i didnt care much for challengers, thinking it was too soap opera esque and lost its compelling nature about an hour in, but this one still sounds interesting to me. Guadagnino is one of the few major directors whose filmography I havent seen much of but Daniel Craig is always doing interesting work and a Reznor/Ross score is not something to miss out on hearing this becomes quite bizarre/surreal as the runtime goes on has me interested. I have yet to see the greatness of Guadagnino that others have expressed so Im hoping it clicks here
