faridah abike-iyimide's writing is soooo good! i loved her sophomore novel, 'where sleeping girls lie' too. it's also sapphic 💖 i also have sapphic south and southeast asian recs if anyone is interested: rani choudhury must die, banh mi for two, and a fire born of exile are some of my most anticipated reads!

I think I always comment when you mention outdrawn, but to your point having not read anything by her before I got this book, its the perfect place to start. The banter, the chemistry, the family dynamics, the friends all very well done. I would love to see this turned into a series featuring the co-workers and Noah's best friend.

Some girls do is absolutely amazing and I enjoyed it I definitely recommend it and a little warning about mistakes were made it’s a very spicy book and has a lot of spicy chapters
