This is a special episode where she talks about important issues and also gives a much-needed perspective on topics such as gender, sexuality, and identity. There’s a lot of ignorance about gender, sexuality and LGBTQIA in Bhutan which is sad. I learned a lot about these topics listening to “Psychology in Seattle” podcast. I highly recommend the podcast to those who are interested to learn and be aware of such topics. Only then we can accept everyone with love starting with the community you live in.

I’m a heterosexual happily married Nepalese in my 50’s living in the US. I happened to come across this interview and what a breath of fresh air it has been with such eloquent and knowledgeable host and Regita. Randomly I watch talk shows and vlogs from regions like Sikkim, Darjeeling and Nepal but never have I ever come across one which is so mature in content and professional and which talks about a subject which is still sensitive and taboo in our regions. I only wish that all our ignorant folks back home would watch this and educate themselves. Good luck to Regita for your future endeavors.
