This was fantastic - why would we want to hear either of them talk about anything else, other than this intricate process they've devoted their lives to - tho Quentin's also hugely engaging when he talks about movies in general - but this was touching on some deep stuff

This is much better than the interview where Robert Deniro acts like never met Tarantino and never heard of Jackie Brown. Bob has a lot to remember anyway, he's excused

Appreciate the upload. When I first heard he was interviewing Deniro I thought the interview would've been...well, better.
@Brolo2148 күн бұрын
Let me tell ya. This is DeNiro turned up to ten compared to some of his interviews. Not the most engaging guy off-screen.
@thomhagan82978 күн бұрын
@@Brolo214 lol true that.
@Revolver19818 күн бұрын
I think Tarantino wrapped it up early because he knows De Niro wasn't going to say much.
@Revolver19817 күн бұрын
No I think this was a screening of the movie so Tarantino and De Niro were just briefly talking about it before it was screened.

Any chance you have the whole panel??😊

Robert is a good actor. Far from a genius.
@StratsRUs8 күн бұрын
@cleftturnip7774 He used to be a great actor.Until late 80's. A bit like certain bands I used to love started being mediocre. But they can point to art they made that was Great. Tarantino is also similarly overrated.

@@StratsRUs I disagree about Tarantino. But each to their own.

Tarantinos best movie

De Niro wanted to play Max Cherry but QT already had Robert Forster in mind specifically for that role, which he killed. Sometimes tho I wonder how it would've looked had De Niro took that role instead of Louis.
@rafaelmoura21032 күн бұрын
i wonder if tarantino is already in the process of writing his new final film and what is it going to be about since the movie critic was scrapped

There's always been some tension between DeNiro and Tarantino. You can see Quentin wants to talk about it 🤣🤣
@TheTrashStash9 күн бұрын
i remember hearing some clip where i think it was deniro's agent talking to tarintino and deniro was having a fit and the agent was trying to talk it out with tarantino
@jacobjohngomez9 күн бұрын
Totally. This is a long 11 minute interview where Tarantino talks for most of it. He's so extra. Deniro seems pretty chill; I'm sure it's pretty draining to be around Tarantino. Was wondering why they haven't worked together since, but this interaction seems to give the answer. He probably finds him a bit annoying.

De Niro doesn’t like to talk and Tarantino likes to talk too much. This is the same as every interview they’ve ever done.

@duncanidaho45658 күн бұрын
it's a deniro conversation - but also he played a ex-con
@jackpayne18618 күн бұрын
cuz there’s a deniro convention going on in tribeca right now. they’re screening a bunch of his work and he’s showing up for some of it.

I don't think DeNiro was crap in it, but I agree it wasn't a great role no. The role and his work in the film doesn't measure up to his work in any of his most impressive contributions to cinema like raging bull, heat, taxi driver etc. But it's a decent film nonetheless.
@Tusc99692 күн бұрын
He was fine but I agree that it's not my fav De Niro role. He originally wanted to play Max Cherry and it would've been interesting to see him in play that character instead of Louis.
@mddistribution302 күн бұрын
Nope, one of Tarantino's best films. De Niro's character wasn't a great character but De Niro did a memorable enough job
