I'm considering getting one of these for Pistolwhip, but I'm curious about the precise weight it adds, do the box or manual tell the actual weight of these add-ons? Oh, and kudos for the reviews you have been doing, that is a thing we could use more to make well informed purchases, as customizing one's experience is what makes VR stand out against other tech platforms.

A great question! I checked their website, and I don't see the weight listed there, but I just weighed one, and WITHOUT the controller installed, each weighs 118 grams. The weight felt REALLY good for the feeling of a smaller real pistol. Thanks for the comment about the reviews - I'm really into trying to do more of them, as accessories can add so much to the quality of our VR experiences....

weight is whaterver, i wish there was something to correct the point of aim for pistols. my g19, sig and 1911 all aim to the left of where the quest controllers aim. it would be nice to be able to use my existing muscle memory

That's a great point. Not being a gun owner myself, I'm not sure how the real thing actually would feel, so that would be good to have some sort of tweaking that could be done.

@@jollyjulian just a hair to the left, but alot of that is the grip, and how the trigger wraps. im a sweaty palms guy, so they always end up slightly off from pistol grip. luckily, most of the 3d printed pistol grip attachments solve this by giving the grip a longer oval shape to keep it from rotating. its just a bummer i figured this out while my 3d printer is taken apart, and i had to etsy a part for $30 😭

Yes - haptics would be a whole different level for sure - would love that! Probably wouldn't be as affordable, but would be kinda cool!
