The Indian civilizational state is inclusive. Ghar wapsi is a response to the Two Nation Theory. RSS keeps telling Muslims you are mostly converts and not from outside. In contrast Jinnah in his first speech in independent Bengal said that we Muslims are from outside and so should not have Bengali as an official language.

Retrofitting. Violence is not an outcome of Nation State but a fundamental feature of human social construction and is an outcome of evolutionary mechanisms. Entire period of Muslim rule in India is full of unspeakable violence and otherization of natives of the land even without a nation state

"I still think India is in a better position compared to Pakistan! The guest feels that India is doing the same thing that Pakistan did during Zia's time, but they forget that India's foundation is much more inclusive compared to Pakistan. It is the foundation that shows the path to nations. A single party cannot change the foundation of a nation; it should be collective, and I don't think India would go in the direction of Pakistan. Similarly, I don't think Pakistan can move towards inclusiveness because the fundamental reason for the creation of Pakistan will never change. Pakistan was created for the Muslims of the subcontinent, no matter what Pakistani liberals say. They refer to Jinnah's August 11 speech, where he said that everyone is free to go to their temples, churches, and mosques, but the movement he started was entirely for Muslims, so the people of Pakistan will never collectively accept secularism as a nation. When it comes to India, BJP is in power, and their ideology is derived from RSS, which is true! It is more like the ideology of the Muslim League, a religious ideology at its core. But the RSS ideology is not what created India as a nation. They can say whatever they want for their political gain, and it has consequences like communal tensions, especially in BJP-ruled states. But it's a phase in India where religious nationalism is peaking, but still, it cannot change or go against the foundation. BJP and RSS are different organizations-one is a political party, and the other is a religious organization. Although most BJP leaders come from RSS, they cannot do whatever RSS wants because of India's constitution. They are bound to follow it. Secondly, not all the people who vote for BJP are Hindu nationalists or fundamentalists. There are other reasons-welfare schemes, economic reasons, the weak voice of opposition, etc. If something goes wrong, they are out of power. But it is quite a double standard for the Pakistani guest to say that India is the same as Pakistan when BJP is in power. Yes! BJP leaders do raise anti-Muslim rhetoric from time to time, but there are enough voices to counter that as well. So, it’s my point of view that this is a phase in India, which will pass anyway."

Over emphasis on organised religion and religious identity is the base of such issues of so-called majority-minority issues. This problem exists in the whole of South Asia. It has accentuated in India for the last a decade or so. However , for the time being it is comparatively worse in Pakistan due to obvious reasons. But then its trend in India may soon be in competition of equality in Pakistan. For more insight please refer to: Paul Powers book " Religion and Violence: A Religious Studies Approach"

I’m happy. Thanks The Black Hole.♥️ A girl has topped the MDCAT Exam ( as NEET in India) , and she is a Hindu Pakistani Girl (I didn’t remember her name but she was of *Maghwar* caste) from Thar Desert Area. There is still hope that minorities will get equal rights in future.
