This would prolly be of interest to game audio enthusiasts: BEEP MOVIE and BOOK ...Interviews on with over 100 game audio professionals from a range of areas of game sound's history. The majority of the interviews were conducted as part of the Beep documentary film project by director and author Karen Collins. These are supplemented by interviews done for Video Game Music Online by Chris Greening. This documentary covers a huge volume of material spanning decades of video game and pinball audio history. Interviews include artists such as Marty O'Donnell (Halo), George "The Fat Man" Sanger (7th Guest), Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy), Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts), Rudy Helm (Quest for Glory III) and many, many more. Came here just to hear the Eastern Fricana music (The Lost City). Stayed to enjoy the rest as well. Takes me back to junior high when the year was around 1992-1993. I had thought (still do) that the tune of The Lost City was so epic. The idea (that kept being embellished in my mind) as follows: Our hero being courageously aided, in his fight, by the animals of the land (natural beings) against the invading demonic force (infernal unnatural beings). Such heartwarming camaraderie, united together against a common foe. A foe not just on to themselves but towards the entire world and life as we know it.

I always remember originally getting to hear a few seconds of the Eastern Fricana Jungle, because I kept getting interrupted by monsters. Then one time I just stood and there heard the whole thing and was blown how awesome it was.

This was the first QFG game that I played and it got me hooked on the whole series. I remember most of the music sounding different than what is played here, but then different sound cards would render the music in different ways. At the time I played the game I was using a Sound Blaster Pro with Boss MA12 speakers.

@@alberto_colamatteo Frankly, I think my first few runs of this game I only had an internal speaker, which was *quite* different. I also think there was probably a real difference between Roland and Sound Blaster, etc. But maybe those changes are not as significant as I might imagine.
