*July 2024: Guide is still up to date. On UIM I used void ranged in all 3 fights. Muspah also with 40 ice bursts, 2 prayer pots. Usually I record my my second time on an alt but didn't have access to one with all the reqs. Hopefully my first attempt is still helpful

i just used range whole fight with ruby bolts e and saphire bolts e for when he attacks with mage. Ran around during melee phase so i dont get hit. Found this way easier. Thanks for guide as always

would definitely reccommend bringing range only, with ruby bolts, and sapphire bolts (e) for the shield phase. Also bring a stamina for the brown phase. This means you don't need to switch equipment (other than sapphire bolts), don't need to switch to smite, the only mechanics you really have to do is pray melee and run when he goes brown, pray mage when he does the purple charge attack, and avoid the shadow attack.

Thanks for the tip! Literally took like 2 sapphire bolts to get through the shield phase. Not having to focus on a switch allowed me to keep my focus on switching prayers. Took quite a bit of damage from the melee form, but the fight went super quick.

Incredibly important note regarding fighting the final boss I'm surprised was left out - the fight is on a timer and you have to be careful where you're standing relative to where the spikes are spawning. It is possible for you to get trapped in a corner out of range of attacking the boss while he can still hit you. So kill him as quickly as possible, minimize time between attacks, and don't stay in 1 corner - even while he's just ranging. Keep moving. Also bring 2 Icy Basalt's so you can use 1 to bail out of the fight if you have to.

i did the quest yesterday on my gim using the sapphire bolts e method at the end but it was far too slow and the WHOLE arena filled with spikes. my poor character couldnt even attack she was too busy bouncing around on the spikes lol. the next time i had eagle eye on the whole fight and it was much quicker

If you traveled to Weiss by boat, you don’t have to take the agility shortcut, just use the nearby cave you mined out from the quest and you’ll be teleported directly to the village.

possibly the best slayermusiq guide I've ever used, and I got my quest cape using only slayermusiq guides back in like 2018 so I've seen a lot of them! I barely had to pause this guide, maybe like 3 times or so, and then obv i watched the final boss fight a couple times over, but other than that I just followed along in sync and pretty much never paused throughout which is really great. I hate guides where you gotta pause after every step to catch up, I way prefer when it's in real-time like this. Great work mr musiq!

Hey Slayermusiq, this is a lengthy message but bare with me. At the beginning of your videos you tend to reveal the items needed, teleports and recommended items gradually? Would you consider revealing all the information immediately onscreen as the video begins, whilst you narrate each segment? Im going to do my best to explain why I think its a good idea: When I begin your videos, like many others I suspect... I am sitting in the bank or grand exchange waiting to buy the things needed for the quest. Because you havent revealed on screen what is needed yet - I either to either wait before I can start buying things I need.... OR.... I have jump the video to the point where I can see what im going to need, so I can start soting them out. I end up usually jumping to the point in the video where you reveal all information on screen. I then take a quick mental note of things I'll probably need to buy from the g.e. and then restart your video back to the beginning and listen through normally whilst buying the stuff I mentally noted. Now, had you just left all the information on screen from the beginning - I would just listen through your introduction as normal, buying alongside what I see on the screen without needing to do this extra but. I would still listen to the whole introduction because it takes longer to buy and withdraw the stuff I need than it does for you to explain it. Also, sometimes you say extra useful things and I dont want to miss what you say, so I would still repeat the intro a few times (foor for youtube algorithm). Im sure many others would do the same. It would just be a quality of life improvement whilst watching your videos to have all the info there from the beginning. You are by far, without any shred of doubt, the best OSRS questing youtuber out there. Videos are spot on, perfectly written and edited... funny... enjoyable, I love it all. You've helped me do over 75 quests now and some on multiple accounts. So a big thank you from me! Peace!

So I know some people still struggle with this boss, I did at first, what helped me was using range only. For the set-up I chose and choose when grinding him 1.) Amor -Karil’s (during quest) Blessed D’ Hide after learning mechs (You could use Armadyl, Crystal, etc… but i usually go for budget) -blessed d’hide boots -barrows gloves 2.) cape slot -Ava’s Accumulator 3.) Necklace and Ring -Fury -Archers (I) 4) shield slot -Odium Ward or Book of Law works fine 5) Weapon - Dragon CB, you could run rune if needed. 6) Bolts As far as the bolts it really depends, for the quest I spared no expense after dying a few times so I ran Dragon Ruby (e) and Dragon Sapphire (e), for budget regular Ruby/Sapphire (e) works fine 7) inventory -prayer pots x4 -Divine Bastion x1 -Stamina x1 -Icy Basalt/Tele Tab for getaway -Sharks During Melee phase, run run and run some more praying Melee and Eagle Eye During Ranged, find a spot and hunker down (Until needing to avoid specials) pray range and eagle eye, make sure to prayer flip to magic during his special. My stats -Range 87 -Defense 75 - HP 83 -Prayer 60 As slayer said, I suck at PvM as well, but I rarely die now unless I really slip up. Hope this helps 🙂

i didnt have a trident on my iron so used blood blitz on auto with ice blitz to freeze rune cbow and diamond bolts. farseer helm book of the dead and ancient staff for mage bonus, rest was ranged gear only switch was weapon, try flick when on smite phase otherwise worked out pretty well. just for those ironmen out there with limited options haha

Best setup is to go range and use it as much as possible. Only barrage to freeze but be ready to switch to range and do the main damage. So bring decent range bonus gear.
