God, the way she just...snaps from being a living, breathing being into a hand puppet again really hits me hard every time. One moment, she's saying goodbye to you and the next, she's just...gone. Back to an inanimate piece of cloth and plastic. No death throes, no tears, nothing...just...gone in the blink of an eye. You can even see when the puppet voodoo magic is lifted from you, when that red flash happens :(

I just got the ending. Honestly the game is a huge glitchy mess, but the atmosphere is amazing and I love it. Which is why I can't stop thinking about it. It also genuinely broke my heart when Scout died. I loved her and would gladly have her live with me in attached to my hand! Her personality is so great. I also REALLY love Nick Nack and wish we could have seen him and Daisy Danger. Also, funny thing about Nick Nack. Is that during the stage area before I turned on the power, I clipped through the wall of his room and I saw his character model through the wall. He was t-posing in the middle of the room. So they have his asset and model, they just didn't use him. Which is a damn shame.

Can't really screenshot through VR. There's no feature or anything. I'd have to take a picture with my phone and that's really tough to angle with having to have the headset on me and everything. Also, no, that isn't Daisy. Daisy and Nick were never used, they're unknowns entirely and probably were going to be in the game but were taken out during the development process somewhere down the line. The only thing we have of Nick Knack is what can be reasonably assumed of as his voice, which is played during the end credits song. In the lore Nick and Riley are always arguing and you can hear two voices going " More data! More theater! ", Nick being known for his love of music, also the voice says to " Practice your vibrato ". Which again, goes along with his musical motif.

Everyone is talking about scout's death but can we just take a moment to appreciate mortimer and riley, they have good voice actors and I love how they rhyme in every sentence even when they give you death threats

Olivia Mann But scout also saw the light. And not even in an “I’m dying, I see the light” way. Plus, the player was unquestionably making progress towards the light as they walked forwards. If the light arrived a little early it was most likely for pacing purposes so it’d be a little more dramatic. The other puppets also very clearly want the player to not reach that tunnel, which makes it very obvious that it’s an exit.

Bro the way Scout just acts like she's not about to die for the host makes me so sad. She knows she's going to die but she stays strong and tried to keep that friendship she made because she knows it's all she will ever see of the human world and because she is staying strong for that friend. I'm so sad she died. I would so let her live on my hand for the rest of my life if that ment she stays alive

They need to add an end where if you collect enough hidden information (that they would eventually release into the full game) you could redo the spell that handy did on you at the beginning of the game, on yourself, bringing scout back to life. Then they would show the credits overtop of a clip of you and scout on your talkshow/restuarant

The character growth of scout is what makes this ending that much sadder. She starts out pissed that the ritual didn’t work and blames us for her short comings and then through shared trauma she finds the one thing she didn’t know she’d want outside of going to the human world,a genuine friend. She even acknowledges that making a friend was just as satisfying as going to the human world. It’s a truly sad ending but remarkable in the fact that scout pretty much went from hating you to appreciating you in her final moments. Wish she could have made it out with us though there should have been a cannon ending where you actually make it out with her.

Hello puppets have 2 endings they have the same results but you get a diffrent dialogue instead. Idk when there was the part that makes you say whether or not the puppet will make it in the outside world, but if you say she won’t make it. She will give a scared dialogue included with fear and she only calls you the host. If you are nice to her and say she will make it. They will talk to you with joy and call you a friend. They won’t fear anything that will happen to them. The 2 diffrent dialogues are both heart breaking.

I imagined the ending like this Scout and her host both die because for the puppet needs a host to live and the host’s life force is taken. Without a host they die. So the host would die because scout is dying for her arm was ripped off so she extracted more and more of her hosts life force. So Mortimer actually lied about giving you “a head start” and he tries to slow you down and scout dies just as you do.

I seriously feel super sorry about the ending. It wasn’t too sad when I watched someone do the ending since he was funny and joking about the game a lot and wasn’t that quiet and scary. I first thought that because he said to her that he wouldn’t make it. I thought it was his mistake for saying that so that’s a separate ending. What’s sad is that she had to die at the end, So fastly and sadly which made me sad. Since she didn’t get her final breath and just turned off.

Soooo none of the bosses are dead, you didn’t best their plans, the main bad guy let you get away on purpose for some reason, your puppet friend who was the only living proof of what happened is dead, your mouth is still sown shut and thousands of kids are going to die… I definitely don’t like that ending but I have a feeling that’s the whole point. It feels super undeserved and I kinda like that because of how different it is.

I feel bad for a scout she was helping the host and everything I wish hello puppets can make a good ending where she doesn't die like it's so sad I was watching Eddie VR and then he was crying at the end of hello puppets just for scout hello puppets is a horror game but also a sad game at the end and hello puppets put too much work into the game it's going to take them forever just to make a good ending where scout doesn't die they put so much animation and quality I don't think they're going to make a good ending I feel so bad for Eddie he probably forgot about scout already :(
