Here we are in 2024! I love your wisdom Peter. There is a growing 'consciousness' movement towards a new earth. It appears we are making our own future. These are exciting times. God bless you Peter for sharing your experiences so openly, You have truly inspired me.

I so get the illusion of ownership not being a reality but a belief system. When I was married I bought the house of my dreams. I thought that I would live there till I died. I was so proud that I owned such a great house. When I got divorce and lost the house it made me realize that I never did own it, but was only renting it, for long after I am dead and buried someone else that I will never know will think that they own that land and house. We possess nothing.

Nothing is permanent in this life. The Buddhist belief of non attachment rings true.
@stephenaustin55259 жыл бұрын
lincolncity9 Yes indeed. Nothing that is not permanent , is worth striving for. It is not ours. Seek the permanent. The infinite. Takes a long time to learn this. Love people use things, not the reverse.

I sure love this guy (Peter Owen Jones). I've watched his three documentaries multiple times each, because they are that good (to me!). He is an extremely interesting person, to listen to, and watch, etc. I'm very happy for the chance to see him speak about his journey, as it sums everything up so very well. I am looking for a deeper sense of spirituality, and his explanations and views on it are spot on to me. He seems like the best of what a person can be. I love his honesty. It's awesome! Thanks for posting this video! I MUST watch again, and take notes :)

Beautiful interview; I learnt a lot just by listening to Father Peter, but I must confess that I was immensely distracted by the background noise!

There’s a high frequency of these words when he speaks: I and me and myself …… the biggest struggle I sense in this man is around his ego. One day if he continues to seek ‘enlightenment’ in all his various journeys he may come to this realisation I hope then his true education will begin. I feel a lot of empathy for him as he seems to have been pretty lost for a long time and searching in the wrong places for what he feel he needs.
@MrSofuskroghlarsen2 жыл бұрын
Which places should he seek then?
@latitudeselongitudes19322 жыл бұрын
Wow,what a pretentious and condescending tone. Do you know him to assert what is right or good for him? To determine when and how his education unfolds, whatever that means. Go mind your own business

Indeed . His obvious good telly persona is tough for him. He seems to need the camera. Yet he also is clearly very devout. An enigma.

It would be nice to know what he thinks of the constant fear, control, coercion, and media threats of the covid elites today, right now in 2022. Courage surely needed now, more than ever, in our lives.

I think we live in a society that if you expressed Joy somebody might think you're crazy and me I think Joy is on the inside of you some people like living in a fearful life some people like living in a joyful life some people like worrying over the slightest little thing

I have a lot of time for Owen Jones but when he talks of God as "total consciousness" we're back to that religious white noise that means nothing to atheists like me.

John 8:29-32 31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. By following the words and teachings of other religions this man is not abiding in the words of the Lord Jesus. Those who abide (live ) in the words of the Lord Jesus know the truth and are set free from all their sins and are released from the chains of the world. By abiding in the sayings and words of other religions this Anglican priest is binding himself by those teachings, which can not release a person from sin and eventually God's judgement for that sin. Therefore he is not free. He has just exchanged one master (the world) for another (man's religion).Royce.

I watched his episode in Egypt and this one. I'm sorry but to me he seems as confused as anyone who is not close to God...he doesn't know Him...he is still looking for answers. He is still lost. If you have a true relationship with God, you 'd know Him. He'd deal with you, giving you understanding, knowledge and wisdom by the Power of His Holly Spirit. Look up the 9 fruits of the Spirit.

Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
