A nice trick to help with editing is get yourself a noise clicker or clap your hands loudly when you want to find the edit points quickly. it will make an audio spike thats easy to spot as you look across the file and quickly find the points you want to edit out. Dog clicker is ideal. hard bit is remembering to click at start and end of game or whenever you want a spike marker for easier editing later.

Something game 1 reminded me of was that ultimately the best players win by calculating quickly and accurately. Your opponent basically played what looked like almost random moves against the bird because I assume he was relying completely on his brute force calculation skills. Wow 10:28 you said exactly what I was thinking.

@gmraven i do have chessable. I'm a B3 player because I like the others to think for themselves ( wich 1F4 also achieves) I looked at the preview and I'm still not sure it answers the question. Is it safe to say that because I'm playing vs Bob the Builder and not Bobby Fischer, I should not worry about taking 2 moves to get to E4 with the classical Bird? Thanks for your reply.
